solo uw and augury griffon farming build

this is the build i usually take to farm griffons and its really good

Attributes

Protectin prayers=9
Curses=12+3+1
healing prayers=9
blood=the rest

Skills

Spriteful spirit=curse=Necromancers
Desecrate Enchantments=curses=Necromancers
Protective Spirit=Protecting Prayers
Healing Breeze=Healing Prayers
Mending=Healing Prayers
Watchful Spirit=Divine Favor
Balthazars Spirit=Smiting prayers
Essence Bond=Monk General

Weapons

Any enchanting +19%-+20%
and the focus item -50(u can buy or get it from these quest)

HOW TO GET TO THE FARMING PLACE???

1.-first go outside of augury rock in the exit that leads to prophest path
2.-follow the road until u get to a part where the way is in 2 roads
3.-go thru the left road and head south to find griffons and kill them

Equipment

1.-only the Scar armor set with lots of runes to take ur health down
2.- and the focus -50 and enchanting sword/axe

Way To Succes

1.-first go outside of augury rock and cast the 4 enchantments
2.-pass the rockshot and if neede cast protective spirit and run
3.-if u need energy aggro minotaurs(the first 2/3 group) and cast protective spirit and let balthazars spirit and essence bond take ur energy up
4.-then run and aggro some griffons
5.-then follow this cast sequence

*protetive spirit, healing breeze
*SS on any griffons, desecrate enchantments on any griffons
*recast healing breeze and protective spirit if needed(all the time if needed)
*keep castin SS on different griffons

FOR UW

Follow the same sequence of above but with more exact timing

Nice posting....
I'm using a similar one w/ some points in Blood though (2+3sup rune) so I can get the E+6 from the -50HP focus.
Works great on Griffs, Minos and Hydras... Having some trouble in UW though and Griffs outside Camp Rankor... They keep on using spell breaker and those heretics nearby pound me with scatter enchantment and i end up diying... Have to find a way to fix this.
I'll try to pm you in game so we can try it out.

Might be smart to put some points into PROTECTION seeing the most important enchantment is Protective Spirit.... As a 55hp invinci you need 1 offensive skill.......SS

This build is terrible.... putting points into smiting.... useless.... not putting any into protection...plain ridiculous..........PS is your most important enchantment.... its what keeps you alive....good try but build is a failure setup like this.... 55hp SS build has been out for a while and has been successful.... your "version" that leave PS being recasted every 5 seconds is very ineffective.... SMITING is a waste of your points.... you need points in protection, it would be different if you had EXTRA points to spare but with this build THEIR ARN'T MUCH FOR EXTRA POINTS TO PLAY WITH! get points into protection, get rid of smiting.... and why the hell do you have watchful spirit....its DIVINE FAVOR.... this is possible one of the worst 55 builds i've seen..... you would last approximetly.... 1 1/2 minutes at max in uw.... or until you aggro, lol

if u werent dumb u will see thta watchful spirit makes u to hace 2 health regeneration and with mending it makes 5 health regeneration and with healing breeze it makes more than ten health regeneration so in augury every hit of rockshot devourers makes nothing cause by the time thye make another u will have the complete life to be with and run to the griffon point

well in the TITLE of this thread it says SOLO UW.... not possible with this build, that was my point.... you'de have to have guardian in there to be able to cast ss

I have been using this build since they nerfed aoe, and first thing i tested it in UW. I prefer Insidious Parasite over Decrate enchantments for Soloing Griffons and mino since you can actualy take on more (5-15). The extra Boost of health from it helps. You have to make sure to keep casting it tho. SS does enough damage.

the only problem with soloing the griffons outside augury is the rockshots that interrupt you. just a tip on those, cast a sustained enchant again and let them interrupt your cast and then use SS so you're not stuck against one rockshot forever. Just gotta get the timing right.

i can never make it out to the griffyns because i always run into a fire trap and it kills me be4 i know what happened. since this happens i just farm the hydras in skyward reach.

are the griffyns better to farm? or should i just keep farming hydras?

Griffons are better farming IMO...
For the traps set by rockshots, well they're almost always at the same spots... So just cast your Protective Spirit a bit in advance (i.e. before crossing a possible trapped zone) that you could still top up with Healing Breeze if your HP degen is too high.
Another solution comes to my mind... It'd be to just wait until traps are triggered by themselves... But it'd take forever...

Dang, I keep on dying in UW cuz Ataaxes make me bleed and my HP regen goes down to 0... Using healing breeze helps a bit but I still die in like a minute if one of their interrupt hits when I cast it (using protector as suggested above by fade away)

yeah nice build and all but ive try the augry rock place loads of times and theres only three groups of griffona and there all so far away they lose intrest before i get to the other groups e-mail me with the solution please i really need to know [email protected]
