well of corse he is not there, its not the festival.
festival quests are ment to be done in the festival, hence the name FESTIVAL QUESTS !?!?!?

Nice... Its cool that you could still do the quest even after the festival is over. But yeah... your going to have to wait till the next dragon festival to turn in the reward seeings as the NPC in Shing Jea will not be there until then. I hope he will give you the quest again though next year? Perhaps during the next dragon festival he will not give you the quest again on that char cause the game might think you already did it because you turned in for the reward.

I will be glad if "Darkness at Kaitan" stays in my log until next year. Last time they would be removed a week after festival... I farm Darkness at Kaitan with 330hp Rt/Mo build. Really good quest to farm, alot of golds, fangs/claws, tomes, lockpicks, etc. I hope it stays.
Also, if you completed them, would you rather have them removed? or have them stay until next year to get quick reward? I'd say, don't complain about it and leave it be

Lucky : ( When Factions was nearing it's release and there were those quests for the Kurzicks and Luxons, the NPC's couldn't be found in the explorable. Poo.

I'm in the same boat. I finished the last quest after the conclusion of the festival (I got banned for selling a miniature Aatxe in trade chat...true story) and It's just going to sit there until the next festival. Can't wait.

I had a few from a year and a half ago, as I hate events and never participate. Then I realised that it was pointless being in my quest log...when would I ever complete it? Zzzzzzzzz

Hm, I still have some Wintersday quests. You can complete them but not get your reward because the quest giver NPC is on holiday.
