eotn crashing on cinematics

anybody have any idea about this eotn crashes when loading quest cinematics the last time was on missing vanguard the time before that was on blood washes blood
the error it comes up with is hard ware related but only ever crashes on eotn cinematics
other problems im gettin atmo are gwen dosnt move (casts walks )
and npcs randomly jump (merchants scouts ) even in cutscenes
i have all the disks 2 sets of each tried clean installs with both sets of disks
formated hd even reinstalled windows
not had anything work pls help

This sounds like a driver issue. If you post up your system specs it would help alot.


type and model for:
cpu
vid card
sound card
if a prebuilt the manufacture and model number would also do. You can always check the manufactures web site for driver updates. Also, what are the settings are you running guildwars at?

also a clean windoze install & gw

What resolution do you run your monitor at and what settings for graphics in game?

I have a feeling that your graphics card can not handle a high resolution and high/max settings for EotN.

I would try turning my graphics/resolution down.

im running in low res on 800*600 full screen
with as much turned of as pos
also now reparing data has started again
2 days and i need to reinstall gw

2 days, that seems a little off. I would reinstall the game. then run the -image switch over night. defrag. also what drivers are yiu using? if it is the 175 you may want to go back to the 169.
