I went out to the sensali in HM with a Sliver Form sin, 16 shadow, 12 earth, and used Shadow Refuge to stay alive against the dark feathers and ebon battle standard and sliver to kill with GoLE to manage energy, with air of superiority(cause it's fun), they aren't that bad. You can get them on the ice and kite around them if you have to heal, throw up refuge and get away from them, then wand them for a bit. Don't agro more then 1 mob and try and get sliver on the darkfeathers first and you'll do fine.

The tengu in the North Kryta Province are better to farm though, they drop 19-21 feathers in hard mode, there are a few easy to kill bosses and drop minor runes alot, and tons of gold items. the same sliver form sin from above does it but you shouldn't need any healing so take radiation field or an interrupt for the bosses healing. You can also take out the fire imps and bog scales ou on the way up to them too if you leave from lions arch(they drop scales and lumps of coal, just don't stand adjacent to the imps, you can hit them with sliver from "nearby" and they do have inferno which hit's adjacent). There's only 2 thingsthat hose the run, sometimes a oakheart spawns in the middle of the tengu and drops EW, this makes SF impossible to maintain, there's a ranger scale boss that does the same too, just wash the run or avoid them and you're good.

Bit late reply to an earlier comment about vipers and radiation field - i use both and the trick is .... do radiation field first and wait for it to close and disease the foes then cast vipers and that will poison and disease the foe together. Remember radiation field only diseases after it closes and that disease comes on instantly so u dont have to wait x secs after.

1. Chests are worth lockpicking for title; lockpicks drop rather than crappy 40g keys
2. white/blue drops are worth 60-100g / worth salvaging
(as opposed to 15-25g and 1-3 salvage tops)
3. tomes drop
4. gold drops might actually be worth saving and using (bladed shield skin looks nice to some)
5. when the sensali drop feathers, they drop 3-4 times as many (~20 versus 5-7)

FWIW, in NM I use R/E:

Okay, I officially love feather farming in Jaya Bluffs. And am quite glad it can be done NM as I haven't beaten Factions yet.

About 20 minutes (maybe a bit less...got a phone call traveling between mobs so I'm not sure how long I was actually doing anything :P ) of farming got me far more stuff than I could carry; about 120 feathers total, a couple gold weapons, some nice runes, as well as a bunch of cloth and tanned hide from salvaging stuff.

Not really anything special about my build, it's a mangled mess I made of another build. D/E using Avatar of Balthazar and Mystic Regen, as well as Sliver Armor for a good burst of damage (and also as an enchant to power MR). I'm sure there's more efficient ones but it works well enough for me.

The Amazon Basin

I was able to farm all of the Tengu on my warrior quite easily as well in melee range :/ only took like 10-15 seconds for one group or 5-10 if fighting 2 groups simultaneously. They really are easy to farm.

I currently run jaya bluffs in 10 minutes with my rit/mo in normal.

Maintain Balth Spirit for energy and Drunken Master for a constant run boost.
Aggro mob and hit VwK+Resilient Weapon.
Drop Spirit Rift on your nearest foe and wait 2 seconds then drop Ancestor's Rage+LoD. Group should be dead unless 1 of the necros was slow to get within touching distance of you. Use Ancestor's Rage to take it out and on to the next group. The assassins will cripple you so just hit I Am Unstoppable and continue.

There are about 20 groups of Sensali but 2 or 3 may get killed off by Yeti's, no big deal since you will still net 60-150 feathers per run give or take. Very nice for a 10 minute run 12 minutes if you run into some kind of problem.

I'd love to see a good ranger, rit, or warrior build for farming feathers. I could never quite wrap my head around some of the higher-tier farms, and this seems like it'd work well for me..

Fastest Jaya Bluffs Farmer Ever:

It's even faster with a ele. But I used assassin. Kills any group in less than 2-3 seconds.

Got a lot of stacks fast.
