Are their any effective paragon farming builds? The one in the sticky is outdated since they changed/'fixed a bug' for the destroyer core farm.

Paragons are very reliant on having team members, which makes solo farming much more difficult. The shouts, chants, and stuff like that aren't nearly as useful with only you getting the benefits.

Alright, I'm about to create a new farming character. I already have an assassin but the perma SF thing isn't for me. Should I create a ritualist or a monk? I absoultley hate going through the factions campaign, yet i hear rits are the best for farming. Any opinions?

I would do rit, monk, warrior, or ele. It depends on what you plan on farming. Necros can be good farmers too. If you just want an all-around generally good farmer, I'd go monk.

Since you have a Sin, try...

...Monk for 55 or 600, Rit for VwK (AEcho or 370), Ele for Terra or 330, or Necro for 55 (SS or SV)...

...then again, perhaps War for VwK or Riposte, Derv for 105, Ranger for Toucher or Wailing Forest Farmer, Mes for SoM or IW Farming, or Para for Blazing Finale...

...in short, everyone can farm something... and basically everyone can solofarm either ectos or shards (I don't know of a solo para build for that, but I think I have seen a fissure coast farmer for para somwhere...

EDIT: Found it: FoW Paratrooper

There was a paragon build for farming raptor nestlings or stone elementals (raptor nestlings are done in nm I believe).

Basically, it was gladiator's defense with 12 tactics and dwarven stability. Throw in a run skill and anything you want to help out radiation field, cyclone axe etc. Pretty much a walk in the park for the raptor nestlings but I only tried them in nm, don't know if you'd be able to pull it off in one glad's defense in hm but perhaps if you could find a way to survive the first wave.

Cant glads them because they run away in a few seconds. I was trying something in HM with [[Physical Resistance] and [["You Are All Weaklings!"] that made most damage from the raptors about 1-5 but no healing and relatively high en costs made it fail :P I can think of anything that would allow HM farming at all and an even less chance of an efficient HM farm. It may work in other places come to think of it though.

There's a Paragon DoA Farming build that a friend of mine made. And i've seen a solo UW one on Youtube.

If i remember i'll post the DoA one later, but it involves Burning Refrain.
