I for one am guildless and i'm fine that way, i'm doing my own thing and accomplishing my own goals like the HoM. Someday i'll go look for a decent mature guild, until then... There's plenty of stuff to keep you in guild wars, find another guild. From my experiencie with other games, beeing in a portuguese clan/group is nothing but trouble, not to trash talk them (i'm portuguese myself) but playing with an foreign group is usually a lot more satisfying and less stressfull. But as always, it dependes on who you team up with, i'm a magnet to 12 yo's who love to insult behind a keyboard >_<

For example, I have been away from GW for almost a year now. This after a return from "retirement" when the only guild I was ever in had a serious bout of drama and we decided simply to fold up shop and many retired. I came back though, played alone a while, and then joined another guild having met a really cool guild leader. Played again for quite some time, until life things came up and then my PC died. No way currently to get back in GW, life things going on anyway, and I have lost the external to GW contact info so, I unintentionally fell right off the grid. I figure I can get to a PC sometime of someone else's, install some things and log back in simply to say hi, but as time goes on, its tougher to do. An important friend, as all my GW friends are, but things happen near the end of a game's life and everyone moves on for a while, returning (often) in a sequel or another game. Falling out of this sort is usually not intentional.

As for friends, freinds are just enemies that don't have the guts to kill you.
As for online freinds/guildies. I do have some good online freinds I have meet in this game. From time to time I am sure we have done somthing that irritates one another. BUT we have this thing called communication. If something makes me unhappy IT will be known. This is a 2-way street. Oddly enough tho we call each other family, as we pretty much are. Even tho we are an odd lot (political, religious, you name it) all over the spectrum, we all respect each other. This is a mutual earned thing. We have taken breaks from this game together as well. If one of my closest online freinds really, crossed the line. I would tell them (it has happened before). If you decide it isn't worth it, bail. There are thousands of good, nice players (out of 4 million+ copies sold). Life is to short for: grudges and massive unhappiness. Who are you carrying those bricks for? PUT them down, life is good again.
About beating your electronics, bad idea.

I think you would need to elaborate on how this friend disappointed you. I can’t even imagine being disappointed with, or even getting mad at a friend while playing a game.

There aren't many things that other people in a GAME could do or say, that would really ruin my enjoyment of it.
We all get attached to certain people....but that is what MSN and Yahoo, or IRC are for...communicating outside of a game.(When it works..*sigh*)

I have had "friends", we all have, fact is most people online treat their "friends" like they never would irl because there are no consequences for such actions. The trick is to weed out the "friends" that are like this and stop doing shit for them completely. It may suck if you are like I am, I treat RL friends and friends online with the same attitude and respect. Unfortunately most online do not.
Anywho, chill out and move on, if they are really your friends something will get worked out, my bet though is with how people usually are online is that if they screwed you over and have no guilt, they are pieces of shit and move on.
Pretty mch all online friends are fairweather friends, remember that.

Problems just dont stop coming... like some friends were really pissing me off and i went to talk with other sayng wat happened and i couldn't go on in that guild... wat did he do? print screen send to my friends.. who said to the leader of guild..
this afternoon i pmed him and called sun of my beach in portuguese..
he says he will report me and i will lose everything i have...
now everyone is pming me that i should give stuff away that i shouldn't have called that...
but i was just too pissed off..

Just for throwing flames, you won't get perma banned. Usually you won't get any form of punishment, but if you say something racist you might get three days banned.

1. Are you sure they were friends? They sound like a bunch of pricks to me.
2. Don't worry about your ecto/shards and all that, even if you do get a temporary ban anet won't remove any of your items.
Basically, just ignore them and move on. There is nothing to worry about.
