I filled up my inventory today. I can't even trade to a collector to make room. So, what can I do? Does this game have warehouses or something similiar to store items in?

There's something called a Xunlai Agent with a Xunlai Chest.

I suspect you're still in Pre-Searing Ascalon; you won't get item storage until Post Searing.

Yes and no. If you're in prophecies, and you're still in pre searing (the nice pretty landscape before you get to that burned out looking place) then no there's no storage. You'll have to sell stuff to a merchant, found in any town. Also, there's ways to get additional room in your inventory by adding bags and belt pouches. If you're in post searing or in any other area of any game, you can go to any npc called a 'xunlai agent' and pay 50g to open your storage account. Then you can access it for free anywhere you see a 'xunlai chest' which are available in every town.

yes there is storage ....visit a xunlai storage agent in any town (except pre-searing ascalon...there is NO storage in pre-searing)....you will need 50 gold to open an account, from there you can store stuff and you can make a materials storage as (for another 50 gold I believe)

OK, thanks for replies. I am in pre-searing Ascalon, so I guess I will just have to find a merchant. By the way, when do I leave pre-searing, and where do I go?

When is up to you, but my personal preference is around level 8. After you speak to the guy by the gates near where you started the game (can't remember his name; Tydus maybe?) You will then be taken to a mini PvP area, after completion you will be taken to what is known as Post.

You'll leave pre-searing when you go to the acadamy - can't think of the name of the quest ATM. But when you DO go, you'll never be able to take your character back to Pre-Searing. I agree with Izzywish, getting to level 8 or so before going to the acadamy is a very good idea, especially for a new player.
