Cannot Copy and Paste in Guild Wars Chat?

For some reason I cannot copy and paste things into guild wars chat. At all. This may have nothing to do with it but I'm using vista 64bit. Any suggestions?

yes if your copying and pasting links, you can put them in the text field for skill bar name on the template code interface and then send that to chat.

The problem is that your clipboard program is either disabled or locked up.

Try a full reboot.

The mozillazine article mentions a couple of malware intrusions that cause the problem as well as some common normal operation problems that cause the issue.

I rebooted, but that didn't fix it.

I can copy and paste fine outside of guild wars, but I will look into the links you posted.

Try using the Left/Right CTRL.

Right CTRL doesn't work for me inside GW, but Left CTRL does.

same here. i always have to use the left one to copy/paste

No one can copy paste into GW the onlyw ay to do is template codes

i can copy/paste anything i want into the chat bar. if you can't then you may have the same problem as OP. i can't copy/paste anything that's already been "said" in the chat window, though, if that's what you mean.

yeah you can copy and paste chatting messages and template codes in gw.
I think its the vista64 bit that's the problem for the op.

Aha! The Left ctrl works for me! Thank you for suggesting that, I just always used the right ctrl. Kind of dumb that the right ctrl doesn't work.
