Right, I've played Gw for 3 years, completed Factions 4 times and got the protector title. I've completed Prophecies and EotN 2 times also, but I've never...never...never understood how Vizunah Square works! So please somebody explain this statement off the Wiki.

I understand one team starts from the Vizunah Square (local quarter) and the other team starts from Vizunah Square (foreign quarter), but what district or location in the World do you have to live in/be for you to start with Mhenlo's group, fighting the human players at the start...and not the afflicteds' with Togo?

Quote:
The Canthan team starts from the Vizunah Square (Local Quarter) outpost, while the foreign team starts from Vizunah Square (Foreign Quarter) outpost. Although these show up as separate locations on the map, with their own mission symbols, they both refer to the same mission.

Both teams start at separate locations. While the Canthan team together with Master Togo is immediately faced with spawning afflicted, the foreign team with Mhenlo has to fight several groups of (easier) human enemies first to make their way to the meet up point.
I'm an experienced player in both PVP and PVE, but I've never understood fully how that mission works, and I'd like to go on Mhenlo's team one time, just to experience it. Or won't I be able to, being from the UK? I've tried Vizunah from the French, German and American districts...but still end up on Togo's side. Is it based on your IP, regardless of what district you go in?

So, I'd like to know how this mission actually functions?
Thanks.

Foreign Quarter = Mhenlo
Local Quarter = Togo

Read the bold part of what you quoted from Wiki.

I didnt understood it too, but NOW i understand. So if ur charatcer is canthan, you will start in local quarter, if ur char is from prop, or nf, u will start from foreign quarter. If u want to be in mhenlo's group, u need a char from nf or prop.
I dont think its the good solution, but this would be the most logical.

You took time out to try and be seen as sarcastic, smart and somewhat funny? You failed on all attempts, loser.

Ahh ok, now I get it. I've always blasted my way through that mission with a Factions based player.

Thanks Namiren, you saved my brain from frying. I've never tried it with a pixelated player from another land in GW, and so wondered what foreign quarter and local quarter were divided into. Now I know. Cheers matey.

If you've completed the campaign on a non-Factions character, you can also access Vizunah (Local), with the help of someone in the Factions campaign who hasn't gotten the outpost yet. You'll have to help them on the primary quest there, though, so they can trigger the guard and let you in. Apparently this doesn't work if you haven't completed the campaign (I'm guessing it's because after you Saved Cantha they trust you just about everywhere in Cantha.)

Just to clarify on top of what others have already posted, foreign characters will receive 'Welcome to Cantha' quest after arrival in Kaineng. This will take them to Bukdek Byway and to 'Vinzunah Square Foreign Quarters.' (Accessible from Bukdek Byway, making it a wholelot less pain in the ass to get to)

Easy answer: There are 2 different outposts, a local and a foreign one.

You can have both on your map.(unlike what Namiren said)

Yes u can get both, but first if you follow the story, you will get local if u do it with an fc char, foreign if u do it with an nf or prop char.

Thank you for calling me a loser. Thank you for misinterpretting me.

My Monk was made in Tyria. She can do, and has done both Foreign and Local Quarters of Vizunah Square.

My Assassin was made in... guess what.... Cantha. She can do, and has done both Foreign and Local Quarters of Vizunah Square.

If you can't understand that, try asking me a detailed question about what you couldn't understand. If you want to know HOW to do that, ask Wiki, as that is where I learned how to do it.

Magma was simply being direct, i detect no sarcasm there. OP needs to grow thicker skin perhaps? Wow, my first troll ever but it had to be said.
