I'd prefer to have both since I could have lots of titles maxed and still have like every elite set of armor in the game. But if I had to have a choice...
I would pick titles because, as mentioned, they will for sure transfer into GW2 whereas we're not sure if items will. However, do the titles give us a special reward? Will our GW2 chars be able to wear our armor and use our weapons (I read in the PC Gamer Guild Wars edition that this would be possible for the weapons at least)? It depends on circumstances, if both transferred I'd prefer to have lots of money so I could buy titles (and awesome armor and weapons).

Plus i'd rather complete the titles myself if i wanted to get them, having them would kinda destroy any pve that still interests me.

Well I got 27 titles and crap poor... (tho have FoW and a Tormented Bow and lots of 15K armours about).... but I'd rather titles as they will have some use.. hell it's easy to make money....

Titles for beneficts in GW2. Also, I am mostly a PvP player so I dont care about money ( and I have Zkeys for that)

I would choose title king with 30+ titles but bad and making money
since ALOT of the titles require you to have a large money pool inorder to compelet.(and gives loots/gold while competing them) That means I got both the title AND the money.

honestly i'd rather be neither. I mean sure if it was like *poof* your rich or have 30+max titles, then sure, i'd take both. But.. either way it means i have no life. I either sat in towns drinking beer... or fought the same monsters over and over again with the same build with no1 else around to talk to, concentrating closely on when my enchantments will run out. Now if i play the game right and just gradually pick away at the titles without even knowing it (like yesterday i saw i had 53 wisdom points, yeah i know its not that much shutup, but neway i never new i got that many golds) then it would be fine. I'd rather not waste my life calling ppl noobs cuz i have more titles than actually have fun
