Para Team
Dairith
Recently I have been vanqing Elona, as well as getting my Guardian of Elona title (16/20 ftw!). I got tired of using Sab's Necros and couldn't get Rac's builds to work for me (the Orders Derv just wasn't cutting it) so I started experimenting with other a paragon teams. After using it for a few days and several of my guild mates raving about it in AC, a ton of guildies were asking for the builds, so I thought I'd put it up here on the Guru Forums
Thus far I have done most of Elona in HM, including endgame, with no problems. I will be testing it in DoA soon, as well as endgame areas in the other campaigns.
The player is (of course) an Imbagon. I find that I have enough adrenaline to get away with "GftE!" in addition to "SY!". I have just started using spear of fury in this build, and like the extra adrenaline over spear of lightning,however it is a hard trade off--I have to get rid of "Finish Him!" to use it
[build=SY! Player;OQGjUumI6SleWYieAh9YpbubybA] -- After testing more with Spear of Fury, I find that a decent amount of the time it will charge SY! from zero addren by itself (this is with Focused Anger and the furious mod on my spear proccing). This happens often enough to make it more than make up for loosing "Finish Him!"
[build=SY! Player Alt;OQGjUumI6SPYWYieAh9YxkpbubA]
Next up is the Spear of Fury paragon. I like it for the extra adrenaline, however I'm toying with swapping it out for Stunning Strike instead because I'm the only one that needs the adrenaline.
[build=Spear of Fury;OQCjUqmIKPBZLMRO8fhjwub5NA]
The last para is the Resto Para. This gives massive heals with 3 paras (4, if you're in NF) in the group. I can get away with one henchie monk using this, and for the most part its just extra insurance. The first time I used this build with a guild mate he said, "Wtf! all this healing is coming from a para!?" and proceeded to tell me that he was never going to do anything in HM without me and my paras with him
[build=Resto Para;OQCjUinMqOr7OMHOG/gTxqY5NA]
Finally we come to the non-para. I like running a splinter nuker for the massive damage and burning for "ToF!" (another 30% damage reduction ftw). However, I would consider this a free spot to bring whatever you need.
[build=Splinter Ele;OghjowMooOkViRR0X4NxY4iLGA]
Alternate Builds instead of the Ele:
[build=Jagged MM;OANDUslfOL1qAeAN86qHBkqK] Possibly swap PS for Dark Fury and put 4 points into Blood.
[build=Infuriating Heat Ranger;OgASc5MTghqGPGVgAAFHCbCAA] More adren = more "SY!"
[build=N/Rt Healer;OAhiYwh8IOJeSzJ3wMjVVTuA] If you find that the Resto Para and Healer henchie aren't doing enough you can always drop the healer and bring this instead.
By far I prefer to run this with another player using Sab's (or more paras ), but as far as Henchman go, if you're in NF bring another para, a monk, and whatever physicals you want. In Cantha I bring the ritualist instead of a monk.

Preety cool mate
Although, everything goes easy with "Godmode" Para's.
Especially when you have 2...

This is true, but I can roll zones even more quickly than Sab's with this ^^

Cool.
Currently using Sab's on my warrior for Vanq/Guardian/etc...
Goes quite smoth. But I've been thinking of unlocking more Para skills since they seem to be more awesome

But if that was to Dairith, then: Quote:

Yay Reading!
Edit: Not to mention I'm trying to throw something different up there, 2 sets of builds is boring, experimenting is ftw Luminarus

Three cheers for reading good.
EDIT: Dairith beat me to it, oops Rhamia Darigaz
eh, i don't see how rac's build doesn't work for you but this does :/
i like his imbagon and his heros better than these. edit: you said the orders derv wasnt cutting it. did you give it a staff? it wont work properly with a scythe. otherwise, ur just doin it wrong because the orders derv works fine. Dairith
Yea I did have a staff on him, maybe it was because I was in 4 man zones, idk.

Yeh. The Orders Derv becomes exponentially more devastating as party size increases
...as does all global stuff tbh (Leadership?) Para adage: the more the merrier! Imaldris
Well done looking thread. Since I'm still building up my skill sets on the first time through with my Para main, this thread will help me set up for HM when I finally have all four campaigns finished.

The infuriating heat ranger doesn't really make sense, seeing as the adrenaline cap is +100% (except for single skills) which you'll be getting from focused anger. I'd recommend whatever other hero you bring have splinter weapon, simply because it is flat out broken on a physical-heavy team.
Dairith
Yea, I'm still playing around with builds. Since I've been focusing on the NF campaign I've had to swap out heroes, so the Infuriating Ranger I used on misses that required Magrid, mostly to help with adren on the wars and motivation para I bring (plus I'm horrible with ranger builds, ranger and mesmer are the only classes I haven't played with extensively).
