Thunder From Down Under [TfdU]

Rt/

Hello everyone,

I was just curious what kind of builds to you typically play? I am considering making the Rit my primary, especially since they are very good at farming. I am also tired of Nuking. The Rit always me to be more flexible. I can heal, support, or damage.

Some of the builds that I like to play are as follows:

Party Support
Rit/Mo
14 Channeling
13 Restoration

[skill]Ancestor's Rage[/skill][skill]Splinter Weapon[/skill][skill]Weapon of Warding[/skill][skill]Mend Body and Soul[/skill][skill]Spirit Light[/skill][skill]Life[/skill][skill]Offering of Spirit[/skill][skill]Recuperation[/skill]

This build allows for a cheap party heal with Life, along with up to 7 pips of health regeneration ([skill]Weapon of Warding[/skill] + [skill]Recuperation[/skill]). You also have a nice solid heal with Spirit Life and condition removal with [skill]Mend Body and Soul[/skill]. [skill]Offering of Spirit[/skill] is used for energy management. Usually, I drop [skill]Spirit Light[/skill] and bring [skill]Resurrection Chant[/skill] when I'm doing missions and such. [skill]Mend Body and Soul[/skill] still provides for a nice heal with condition removal to take a lot of pressure off the monks. [skill]Splinter Weapon[/skill] and [skill]Ancestor's Rage[/skill] are used on Melee characters for some buff damage.

Another build I like to use when PvEing:

Rift Spam
Rit/Me
14 Channeling
10 Spawning
9 Communing

[skill]Essence Strike[/skill][skill]Spirit Burn[/skill][skill]Arcane Echo[/skill][skill]Spirit Rift[/skill][skill]Vital Weapon[/skill][skill]Offering of Spirit[/skill][skill]Ghostly Haste[/skill][skill]Bloodsong[/skill]

The main idea is use to Echo [skill]Spirit Rift[/skill] and use [skill]Offering of Spirit[/skill] and [skill]Essence Strike[/skill] for energy management. [skill]Spirit Burn[/skill] does some nice damage and causes burning while [skill]Vital Weapon[/skill]--if you brought it--is used on the Monks. Use [skill]Ghostly Haste[/skill] while next to [skill]Bloodsong[/skill] so both of your Rifts recharge pretty quick.

If you're having serious energy management problems, or in an area with heavy energy denial, you could echo [skill]Offering of Spirit[/skill] or [skill]Essence Strike[/skill]. Bring [skill]Ether Nightmare[/skill] as an alternate for more AoE degen. [skill]Vital Weapon[/skill] is optional for a res.

Those are two of the most common builds that I run in PvE. Sometimes I'll do the old mobile spirits thing but that tends to get boring. Just depends on the area and what I'm doing. Feel free to post some pictures of your Rits and equipment, along with the builds you enjoy playing.

For looks the best armor is 1k Imperial imo. Alot of the armors that have very large amounts of tattooed areas (like kurzick), i find to be VERY bad looking. Just an opinion though .

I run Channeling/Resto most of the time, though I'm trying out a Minion Bomber. When I'm in an easy area or just want to do things my way, then I go Channeling/Communing.

Strong Foreign Policy [sFp]

Trubs runs a splinter barrage rit and is consistently one of the more useful and fun people to play with on my vanqs and FoW runs.

For pure damage, a splinter rit is pretty amazing.
