Monk Tomes

I keep seeing people selling monk tomes for 1k each. This doesn't make sence to me. There are at most 1k at the skill trainer, so why buy a monk tome if you could just go to the skill trainer?

I must be missing something... but an answer would be appreciated!


EDIT: After looking at some info. about tomes on Wiki, I saw they don't need skill points to use. So I guess I answered my own question... Yeah.

2 things at work here, maybe the person has no skill points left...you dont need them to use the tomes, 2ndly many people may not be far enough on a character to have access to all of the skills available (eg my pre-sear monk leaves searing....I have a monk tome in storage in ascalon so she can pick up spear of light which is a factions skill not available to her until she gets to kaineng via LA....this way she can learn it while still in ascalon city).

^ its a she. atleast i think it should be atleast , most monk tomes go for about 800-900 but some do sell for 1k since its prob THE most popular tome type. The skill point thing and the no need to use skill trainer makes it worth it

A. monks are generally hard to farm en mass
B. Alot of good monk skills are later in campains'
C. People are lazy
D. Skill Points
