If you want to be a powertrader I think there are better places than Pre-Searing to do it. Of course, if you are in love with Pre and want to be rich there than a gate Monkey is a pretty easy and very boring way to rack up some decent cash (by Pre-Searing standards at least).

If you are making a perma pre character, then I would just go into the gate with a partner and farm the char there (you will need to be at a decent lvl to do so though). You will get a lot of purple/gold drops which will be worth trading (even some good starter whites).

if you are going into post, don't bother trading, its not worth it, since money is insignificant..

OK. My fav area is PRE. I have 3 perma-pre toons there.

When starting, get yourself to lvl 2. Go to ascalon city and take the quest "Charr at the gate" do that over and over again. Do not take the reward, simply map back to ascalon and abandon the quest and take it over again.

Then at lvl 10 go find Fort Ranik. And try and enter a group running for HUNTER's ALE.

To get a hunters ale, run from Fort Ranik to the Bretons. Talk with the bretons to start the challenge. Then once the times starts Kill a bear and run back to the breatons. It is that easy. You will get 100 gold for each of the ales that you get. You can average 25-34 Ales/hour.

that is 2.5K per hour. so if you grind that for 3 months you will get about 40 stacks and never have to worry about gold again in pre

That takes a long time to do. But I agree to get to level 10 you will need to do the quest charr at the gate. Than after lvl.10 leave pre.

WHAT? L E A V E P R E! Let it not be so.

What about the title LDoA. The FREE DRUNKEN TITLE. that is worth 1 Million Gold. What about Capping a Black Bear? What about Gwen and giving her flowers?

3 hours a night for 3 months = never farming again in pre, EVER!

You be the KING OF PRE Oh I woulder if that name is Taken
