I'm not sure if it's important, but I play on the US servers mostly. I first noticed this a couple days ago when making a build. Skills that I am 100% sure I bought from a trainer were not available. I've also noticed that so far at least a couple upgrades I unlocked through identifying items were not unlocked anymore. Again I am 100% sure that I had these unlocked before.
I'll email support, but I highly doubt they will fix this or compensate me for the used faction/gold I spent to unlock these things. Has anyone else experienced this recently?

Someone in my guild said today that they couldn't get some skills on their Pvp char, even though they've bought all the skill packs. Don't know if that's the same type of situation

Things like this happen quite alot, actually. It's an old bug and has been around for ages.
Already happened like 2 times that my weapon upgrades were all reset so I had to buy them all over again QQ
nothing you can do about it, and they won't fix it because they don't know what's causing it.

well, about 3 weeks ago i had wounding strike on my dervish's bar, wanted to check some other skills and to my surprise it seemed like i've never unlocked it.

I only noticed a couple upgrades, but I'm going to check a balthazar faction npc to see if there is more things that I didn't notice. I sent Anet a support ticket demanding a remedy for the situation or to at least give me my faction and gold back. Thanks for letting me know that they really can't do anything about it.
Edit: ~30 upgrades/runes and ~5 skills were affected by this.

Like earth said, it's an old bug and it doesn't look like it'll be fixed anytime soon so just deal with it the best way you can. ANet won't return your lost gold/faction either cause once they do anyone that's not uax will start claiming it happened to them.
