Meh was just thinking about a caster class that uses smoke linked spells/attacks that could inflict such conditions as dazed and blind and weakness, to render melee and spell caster classes useless for a small ammount of time. The skills wouldnt have as long as duration as some attacks linked to other proffesions but could give the team enough time to get in possition during the attacks and so on..
A few skills could be
Gaseous aura - Ward spell. Energy-10 Cast Time- 3s Recharge 10s
You create a ward spell for 5...8 second that inflicts blind on enemies in the vicinity. 2 second this ward end all enemies in the orignal ward area are inflicted for 20...50 damage and are blinded for a firther 1...3 seconds.
Confusing blast - Spell. Energy 10 Cast time 1s Recharge 8s
You cast a spell on target foe that interupts the foes spell and causes them to be dazed for 3...7 seconds. When the duration ends the foe is struck for 10..25 damage and is inflicted with weakness for 2..5 seconds.
Criticise if you like this is just an idea, will come up wiht a full specification if you like it

your "confusing blast" skill would probably have to be a hex to have a "when the duration ends" clause; i don't imagine conditions as they are would mechanically support something like that

People, you don't come into this forum and criticize on the basis that guild wars classes are fine as they are. That's not the point of these forums - this is for creativity. Criticize the new class, not the whole idea of concept classes.
That said, your class's role is already fulfilled by a mesmer. It's a good idea though.
