I have a question about ventilo

Hello, I am a new guildwars player. i have a question about My alliance has a ventrilo, and many people are using it to comulicate with mic. i beleive many of you guys are heard of it or using it. my question is: Could people hack guildwars accounts thru the ventrilo servers?.....I know its a silly question. but i don't really want that happen to me..........................~.~thanks

no they cant.

people use it all over almost all the big games (i.e. WoW, GW, Everquest, SWGalaxies, etc.)
if there was a way to hack your account when using it, people wouldn't use it.

It is a separate program from Guild Wars. They run separately, but at the same time. They do not interact with each other.

why ventrilo? I use TeamSpeak, somebody else use it?

Used to. Until someone brought me a Ventrilo server.

1. Faster messages sent, almost exact timing. Perfect for spiking.
2. You can adjust the output of others if they're too loud/quiet.
3. Smaller interface.

Who is ventilo? Ahhh, must be an NPC. Is he a collector or a materials crafter?

I use to use TeamSpeak all the time but it had alot of problems, alot of static, alot of sound lag, alot of echo, (and yes we tried all the suggestions to fix such things). Anyway tried Vent and have never looked back. Vent just gives us crisp clear communication, no problems at all.
