using two people 1 to pwr lvl foes and then the other to get the exp?

No, the titles are mutually exclusive.

The 2 person method won't work because the person won't rez if you're alive, and you don't have a hard rez available, not that you'd want to sit there and rez some dude over and over.

Actually, there was an exploit where you could travel to the Guild Hall from anywhere in the game, including pre-searing. People went there and bought skills from the skill trader (if they had one), resulting in skills that wouldn't normally be in pre to be there. There's a teeny weenie chance that someone has one, but that won't help you .

No it is not possible, if you can suggest to me a way of the first person being able to keep ressing, while the survivor waits, then by all means tell us??

The way i csee it, you can only res a maximum of 5 times, 1 fo the res signet, then 4 (one res signet for each boss).

After that, the power leveller wont res while the survivor is in the map.

lol, i guess he could track someone down who had done that, and then somehow get that person to sit there for 8 hours ressing, but thinking about it, even that wont help him, because he will be dying.

there was also a bugged quest in presear that allowed you to get infinite exp rewards, providing your inventory was full.

that has been patched though. however, i do believe there's still a few people with both maxed titles around.

I can confirm that some people has both.

It seems like it will not matter much after the titles become account based. That is what I am waiting for since I already have a survivor and working on the LDoA.

You realise they haven't said anywhere that titles will get account wide, right? And that they totally haven't said all titles will go account wide, right? Get your facts straight before spreading rumors.

And the account-wide stuff only applies in HoM. So yeah...

Could you not get them both by letting them kill your pet over and over, while you res? or do they not get exp from pet?

It has been said that in the HoM you will have the option of displaying all the titles on the account and that all the titles on the account will "do whatever it is they do" in GW2 for all of your GW2 charecters.

This is a totally different scenerio than having all titles be account wide in GW1.

They don't get exp from pets, nor minions. Only players, and seeing as there is no way of having a reusable res without exploiting stuff, it's not possible to obtain both.

Hmm so wait, we'll have the option of displaying EVERY title on the account on ONE character in the HoM, even if it is earned on ANOTHER character?

pet only gives exp the 1st time it dies.

there are only 2 ways known of doing what it is you are talking about.
1. the fixed quest bug.
2. the tomes that got into pre due to a bug also fixed.

There is no other way. Whatever idea you post after this wont work either. It can not be done anymore.

The way I think it works is:
[ ] shows charecters titles in the HoM
[x] shows all titles on the account In the HoM

This is not, in anyway, account wide titles. If your charecter didn't earn the title they can not benifit or wear it.

I bolded the relevant bit. Players will have the option of choosing account-wide titles, so two different characters on the same account, one with LDoA and the other with Survivor, could each view both titles in the HoM if they so choose. If I understand correctly, that is.

Getting the pet to death lvl the charr will only give the charr xp for their first death and only their first death.

And as for spreading stuff, I do believe that it is in the HoM that the titles are going to be transfered to GW2. So if that is ACCOUNT BASED the rewards will be transfered to GW2 from there.

As for the titles being displayed on ONE toon at a time who cares? You can only display ONE title at a time anywho.

Geesh IF I see someone running around in pre with BOTH titles then they managed to get it with the xploit and that is just not allowed. ANET will then ask the person to move on to post. So this too is pointless.

HoM is all that is going to matter after GW2 comes out. Only Certain areas of the game will continue to prosper and then, most people will move to GW2 like me.

This game has so many interesting snibits to it. You can grind if you like to grind, go against one another one on one or even guild vrs guild.

All the crazy stuff that you can do and the depth of the game. Nuts man just nuts. I love it. Personally I love the grind. Just me and tweaking the build.

I think that it will be nice to get the titles account based through the hall since the LdoA and the Survivor are mutually exclusive for transferance to GW2. Nice thinking. Sorry about the spelling.

The term "account based" has been a huge issue in the past in both riverside and in sardelec.

What account based means to people, is that all the titles on all there charecters will be able to be worn on any charecter and they would receive the benifits from them on an account basis. Example: Slayer of all, in presear.

The link that Mr.B provided explains exactly how the HoM will work. This is NOT making titles account based. Yes, it is easier to say that it is that way but people will see this/read this and get the wrong idea. Which leads people in the wrong direction. We are not trying to correct you or be rude in anyway, we just are trying to defuse a bomb before it explodes.

A few other notes:
- HoM provides an "unlock" just like a unlock in GW1 that does not mean you get what the HoM "unlocks" at the start of the game.
- Any "unlock" will not give an advantage over someone that has never played GW1.
