Rit / Ranger combos?
ajc2123
A friend and I decided to each make a character to only play on while the other person is online to make things interesting. We decided factions and I decided to make a Rit Despite the beef I have with spawning power because...lets face it, I love their armor. And she decided to make a Ranger in hopes of doing beast mastery.
So here's my question. Is there any combos out there atm for a rit and Ranger to play in general PvE Besides barrage splinter? I wish to have some synergy between us but she's not all that good at timing and syncing so hopefully something that I can do on my end like weapon spells on her pet or something. I am going to leave all the healing to ogden once we get of the island. and we are both part ele for some strange reason. ( I know rangers have conjure glass spikes but shes not doing that with a pet.)
Keep in mind neither of us are going to have high ranks in PvE skills attributes.
So any thoughts?
OH and also, why do people post 12 char? Is it just a sign of how many characters they have or something else......

Yea, I do a Rt/Ranger in PVP alot. It should work pretty well in PVE. It consists of only three main skills. Dual Shot, triple shot, and Nightmare Weapon.
You cast nightmare weapon on yourself and cast triple shot for armor ignoring dmg and a decent heal. You could also add splinter weapon for area of effect dmg. This is mostly a pvp build but could be used as a pve if you do it correctly.

There are lots of things you can do together as a rit and a ranger. One idea would be spirit spamming. Rangers get their expertise bonus on all rituals, not just ranger nature rituals, while a rit gets spawning bonus on everything the rit creates.
Or, since your friend likes pets, you could both bring pets, and you could have a few nice weapon spells to use on them and the ranger.
One idea that might be some fun is... you put spirits down, and your friend lays traps in front of the spirits. You could use high channeling and bring painful bond to create massive damage from the offensive spirits.

what king said
there are some pretty good combos out there for ritu
just as an example
[spirits strength] + [nightmare weapon] + [volley]
or the highly coveted [splinter weapon]
you can run a good damage build and be a party supporter as well with your weapon spells

looks like noone actually read what the guy wrote, ur all giving suggestions for a rit/ranger one person but he is asking for a rit/e and ranger/e working together, although they can always change secondary..I'd say get the ranger to use a conjure spell and other damage boosting skills than cast weapon of agression on it for increased attack speed, then just do w/e else u want, personaly i heal with my rit so i dont know too much about channeling.

[skill]Spirits Strength[/skill][skill]Splinter Weapon[/skill][skill]Volley[/skill][skill]Nightmare Weapon[/skill][skill]Triple Shot[/skill][skill]I Am The Strongest![/skill][skill]Finish Him![/skill][skill]Flesh Of My Flesh[/skill]
Only reason I use my rit anymore.
EDIT AFTER ACTUALLY READING-
I guess some synergy that doesn't require syncing is her setting down traps and you setting up spirits, lure, and look at everything blow up. GG

If she brings her pet - then you drop Ancestors/Splinter on it.
What I consider insanely fun is bringing a Barrage hero (my primary being a ritualist) and then Assassin's Promise Warmongers on him.
AoE mass interrupts. Quite fun!

Unless you throw spirits out all over the place or abuse splinter weapon, then no, not really.

Seconded but then again, spirits are practically nothing but dust in the wind half the time. >_>

spirits are slow and a pain in the ass to move around. they were almost as bad of an idea for PvE at least as shadow stepping.
just abuse splinter and ancestor's
