Hi all,
Recently upgraded from a 4 yr old Dell to a new homebuilt. I'm running a new AMD dual core, using 780G's onboard graphics and 2gb RAM. I'm running Windows XP Home with SP2.
780G I bought: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16813135075
My speakers are from my Dell computer. They're 2 front speakers wired to a subwoofer and then all go into 1 jack for the back of the computer.
Now these worked fine on my Dell (well, of course), but now I'm having problems.
I've got IDT's drivers installed, and the provided audio control (?) program. Currently only the left speaker (my left) plays sound, and the subwoofer only plays when the audio is turned way up (yes my sub's volume is adjusted correctly).
I would like to solve this problem- I'm going to send in a support form to ECS but so far they have been very slow with a different form. Basically I think the speakers and the mobo/drivers/software aren't working correctly together(obviously)
Also, I can't get windows to detect my mic and when i plug in my headphone to the front jack, the audio plays through the speakers AND the headphones, whereas it would used to turn off the audio through the speakers.
Any suggestions would be great.
