How do you become an ursan?

Hi, I'm not really a noob... but I guess I am now. I quit playing when eotn came out. I purchased it, but never played it and hadn't been playing for pretty much the whole time I was in school before that.

So, I understand that you need to build up Asuran points in order to get to R10 and become an ursan. And I get how you get the skill.

But my question is, do you only farm points in explorable areas to gain points? Or do you complete quests to gain points? If its the first one, where is the best area to farm points?

Thanks to anyone who takes the time to answer this.
Sorry if there is already a thread like this but I couldn't find it.

Well actually...

It's not Asuran points, but Norn points. You can get the skill early and use it while you aren't max rank in the Norn title.

You can farm points in explorable areas, much in like the other 3 races titles of EotN or SS/LB in NF, you get points from quests, and you can complete hero Handbooks (some kind of repeteable Journal of primary quests) for points too.

The current popular run is done in Olafstead, with some quests active, outside Varajar Fells.

Norn points, first of. I did normal mode books from r3-r8, and one hard mode book somewhere in there because I thought it'd be easy (I don't suggest it)

Then go to Olafstead and party with some people for Norn Point Farming. Easy 5k+ (10k+ if your party does a lot or you get lucky with buffs) In ~40-60 minutes.

And just a little bit of preemptive advice for when you DO get Ursan: Unlearn everything you know about playing with any sort of skill and learn how to roll your forehead on your keyboard mindlessly.

But seriously, getting ursan isn't all that hard. Check out Wiki for a walkthru on the quest.

Ironically, I was able to H/H the quest to get Ursan while mindlessly rolling my forehead on the keyboard...
