I'm doing a renovation on my weapon sets for my heroes and I got a bit stuck when it came to my N/Rt healer. I've been using a +10 armor staff on him for a while now. But since he uses an item spell, the extra energy from his weaponset can send his energy to 0. I've never paid too much attention to how the hero actually uses the item spell and if it can ever cause problems. I have a feeling he won't keep the item spell up permanently, which would be best unless he needs to dual-drop it for extra healing.
I was thinking of just putting a weapon/shield on him because the armor from both items doesn't make his health/energy fluctuate. I'm not sure if the energy part of other sets would present a problem at all.
Weapon set for N/Rt healer
Vann Borakul
Tyla
40/40, because the more party healing the better.
Freke
You're probably using him for pve, I'm guessing? On my necrit healer I put on completely survivor runes, a sup vig, a major soul reaping and 4 vitae. For a weapon I use Alem's Remedy. Good for energy, health, skill recharge whatever.
Don't worry about energy if you're actually good at killing, which should be extremely easy in pve. That's basically a free 30+ energy every 15 seconds.

Gift3d
+5/+30hp weapon, and a bison cup preferably. If not that i'll just go with a restoration staff with +60hp.
Luminarus
It really doesnt make that big a deal. However, I would run a 40/40 set just to make it faster recasting.
-Lotus-
hourglass staff... just like all the other caster heroes
Whirlwind
I have always used Kersh's staff on my n/rt healer, + energy and +60 health lets them survive better, cant heal if your dead.
