Guild Wars Collectors International Edition

Does anyone know if what this guy claims is true about international keys? I'm trying to purchase a legit copy of Prophecies CE without paying $1000+.

I've purchased several international editions from stores overseas that claim to be selling the CE version only to get the stupid game of the year version 3 weeks later. This looks pretty legit, I just don't wanna get burned. Of course, for 1 cent, how could I lose!

Uggg, the dude claims he has more copies, so if it gets too high ($150 is all i can really spend!!!) I'll just wait till it settles down.

Yes, keys will work, regardless of where you are. Only the first key you entered will matter, and even then, you can travel to any* district anyway.

*: a few regions are locked from travel though. China and Japan spring to mind IIRC.

You should never put a link to something that cheap on here. If you do end up getting one of the GW CE then your lucky. If you don't, just remember you told everyone on guru about it. Good luck on getting one.

Yes, what the guy is saying about the keys IS true.
I have seen that edition before in Europe, but not recently.
He has 100% Feedback and has been an Ebay member for 10 yrs so he is probably trustworthy too.

But as others have said, it looks legit. The user has good feedback and has described the item in detail that it can't be mistaken as anything but the original CE. His tidbit about the keys being used internationally is also true.

Bidding histroy is real messed up tho, lots of bids from the same few new accounts. Guildies me thinks.

Could you add that key, if you all ready have prophecies key?? so that it just upgrades the aura??

If the current bid is $20 and you can pay up to $150 like the guy above and just don't want to bid that high in case you change your mind....

Bidding $25 would add a bid, but you would immediately be outbid by the "current bid" because he used proxy bidding. Until you put an amount above his max bid, it will keep adding bids, but not give you the top bid.

So it may look like:

$20 Original bidder. ($100 max bid)
$25 Second outbid bidder. (Just entered $25.)
$30 Second outbid bidder trying to get higher bid.
$31 Original bidder by proxy bid. Still under his $100 max bid.

That's how you get multiple bids by people.
