Anyone know how to stop this 'problem' ?

Closing GW opens Windows media center

Yup, go to the Guild Wars shortcut, or into the directory, and right click the Icon.
Go to properties, and if you see a ''-mce'' tag on the end of the target line, remove that command only, without quotes. Apply it and you shouldn't have that problem anymore.

When I close GW, I can't see my cursor until I right click on the desk top somewhere. What's up with that?

Np White.
I have no idea though, Ryker. It's really hard to say - some games make my desktop act funny after I turn them off too, but I don't think much of it. It was mainly on Vista, XP seems fine with things.
I'm assuming you play in full screen?

Yeah, I play on full screen but if I remember correctly, it did it when I played windowed too. Oh and I have XP
No big deal, the op problem reminded me of it.

Hmm yeah it shouldn't be too much of a problem then, minor annoyances aren't really worth digging into.
It could just be drivers and you can update/roll back and stuff to see if that will fix it.

Check pointer trails - that's been known to have that effect.

^^^ or the "Snap To" option.

Thanks, Brianna, for the media center tip. Same has been happening to me, but hadn't gotten around to researching it.
