I know Firey and Icey Blade Axes drop only gold. IDS's drop only gold. Any EOTN crafted weapons are always gold (Norn, Destroyer, etc). Other crafted weapons are only gold, ie: Tormenteds, Deldrimors, etc.

Crystallines drop as purples, i know because i have a grape crystalline. I recall emerald blades dropping only as golds... Lets see Runic blade, gothic blade, Fellblade, Obsidian edge...etc.etc. But its not the color that matters its the skin

Ell swords drop as grapes I have a few but Icy Dragon Swords only appear with a gold rarity by deffault from a may 07 update
