I got scammed!

One guy wanted to buy my guild, and he didn't want to pay before he was promoted to leader, so i was actually stupid enough to promote him before he gave me any money. Now the guy kicked me out of the guild, and is ignoring me, what should i do? I was weary stupid, i know that...

i got scammed and i know people who got scammed and there's nothing that can be done about it
but it's just a game so it's not that hard

Well... at least you get the satisfaction of knowing that he got stuck with a guild with whatever lame name you chose. (You get what you pay for).

Well... I first of all think you were lucky to find that dood. When i tried to sell my guild, i ended up being unable to give it away. I promoted an officer then bailed. However, still that does suck as its sort of a damned if you do, damned if you dont kinda deal. If you do you can get scammed. If you dont, then they could claim ur gonna scam them.

I guess you could report him to ANET, but all that would result in is another coupla wasted kb's of space on the net.

Well, if you know your guildmates well enough, get another guild, or better yet make them harass the guild leader until he leaves...

i'm sorry, but that's not scamming, that's idiocy. Nothing you can do i'm afraid except start a new guild.
