Meaning if you had 0 energy and someone did used signet of wearingness on you, would you have -7 energy? And if you equip a basic 10E staff, you'll have 3 energy, you know blah blah

Uh, still works for me... swapping into my -5en and getting completely e-drained/burned/surged then swapping up to cast.

When smiting for 600 I always have 0 energy with all the -10's, when the tank stops fighting I switch to energy set and have the 12 energy from focus.

I think it's always been like this and I believe most people call it hidden energy.

Edenail cannot drop you past zero, so by swapping down weapon sets to "hide" ur energy then swapping up to cast, you have more energy. It still works.

This is a GREAT idea. Makes sence. I never thought of that. Should work against Glint area as well. SWEET.

Anyway anyone remember the glitch when you could switch to a low energy set then switch back up to a high energy set and have your energy back? lol

weapon swapping is one of the basics for all caster classes. i'll never say i'm great at it or anything but i know i'm supposed to.
