Im playing the game with my sound turned down in game. Everything is down to 15%.

The skill interupt sound is ear peircing.
When playing with hero's if they are casting something, and you move they cancell what they were casting with this annoying Click.

What can i do to remove this annoying "Click" or at least tone it down.
It doesnt seem to be affected by any of the sound controlls.

This is odd, I play with all the Guild Wars sounds off and have Winamp in the background instead and have never once had problems with the interrupt noise.

I could understand in pvp you might want to know when someones skill was interupted, but in pve, i really dont care who skill gets interupted.
The closer my heros are to me the louder the click is.
There needs to be a way to set interupt skill sound to 0.
I just want to not hear it.

I'm always amazed to hear people play with the sound turned off. The sound actually helps you play better if you know what those sounds are. Pop up monsters make a noise when they appear, which gives you a warning. Things like a Golem dying makes a unique sound that lets you know to make a new one. Certain skills have unique sounds to them that let you know they are being used. I notice the interrupt 'click' you mention, but hardly find it 'ear piercing'. If it annoys you, try turning the rest of the game sound on, as I rarely notice it as more than a minor sound amidst the rest of the game.

I totally agree that the game is better with the sound on. Unfortunately, my sound card and its drivers do not play well with GW. I play with the -mute option on the GW executable. By turning off the sound, my frame rate goes from around 5 fps to around 40 fps. My new system will have a much better sound card, but for now it is easier to omit the sound.

If only there was a folder with all the game sounds in it we could have any sounds we liked.

Fans could produce theme packs for GW

edit
and yes the interrupt sound is a little annoying

Ive never had a problem with the interrupt noise, but what i do find annoying is those people that spam healing sig and esc. and make the noise, OVER and OVER again.

I always play with sounds on and never noticed any annoying let alone piercing click from heros..... any combat game plays better with the normal sounds enabled imo,

If PvE wasn't so easy then I could see how this would amaze you but, with it being as easy as it is then I don't think the sounds would make players that much better IMO.

Oooo... 1) Porno theme pack... 2) Monty Python... 3) Austin Powers...
4) Chuck Norris... This would become the funniest game ever.
