I was watching some gvg tourny battles the other day paying particular attention to the dervish's builds (thinking of maybe getting into pvp) when I notice a nice conjure build (Yes I know nothing new). Anywho, this is what the dervish was running;

[Conjure Frost1;OgakscpraxuzzAAzcFwFYxd7UAA]

I'm not certain of the attribute spread I'm just taking an educated guess based mostly on duration of stances and enchantments; since I'm not a pvp expert I've got a few questions I'm hoping can be answered.

First, if my attributes are wrong how are they set up for this?

Second, Lyssa's Assault I'm assuming is being used as some form of e-management but spending 10 energy to gain 11 seems kinda stupid. Would zealous sweep be a better option since it cost less energy? Tho the energy gain is less and the recharge 2 seconds longer the damage is better. I'm guessing its because you can do a lot more with 11 energy then you can 3. Still I'm not crazy about this skill overall.

Third, would it be better dump more points into wind prayers and simply use whirling charge instead of heart of fury and enchanted haste? There will be down time with IAS and IRS in any event. Not to mention you would also be freeing up a skill slot since you would have both with in one skill. Or does having 33% IAS make a huge difference over 25%?

Finally, what runes are being run in pvp for a build like this Survivor for more life or Windwalkers since the build does run on enchantments?

[Conjure Frost2;Ogaksgpr6yOzzAAzcFwAAEc7UAA]

Would this be better? If so what skill would you suggest in the open slot?

Well, that's a slight variant of the WS dervish I'm used to seeing, but you're going to run 12 +1 +1 in Scythe Mastery, 5 +1 wind prayers, 8 +1 mysticism and 9 water magic.

On to the OP:

1. Attributes are usually 12+1+1 Scythe Mastery, 8+1 Mysticism, 8 / 9 Water Magic, rest goes in Wind Prayers with a rune.

2. I don't know why the choice was that skill either. I myself prefer to stick with a second automated IAS attack, Eremite's Sweep. Probably because it's a cheap attack skill that has a higher chance of hitting the conditional, the energy is gained always (Check Wiki Notes), and you can use it more often. I know it's two seconds, but the lower recharge could do you good.

3. Nope, because then we wouldn't have been using Signet of Mystic Speed & Heart of Fury. Stick with EHaste and HoF, as the recharge on HoF can be altered by chance if you stitch to a staff and the speed boost comes more with EHaste.

4. I always go with Survivors, and I said which runes above.

By the way, get better Monks. Midliners aren't as consistent or strong damage dealers in PvP for the simple reason that Warriors and Dervs are usually on the frontlines making things die.

use [attacker's insight] for energy managment, it's quite effective when you combo it with [lyssa's assault]

In RA you either have a Monk or your chances of winning are very slim.

@Shu - I wouldn't really bother with Lyssa's Assault if I'm using Attacker's Insight, becasue AI is generally the best energy management a Derv can get at even 4 spec. Honestly, that skill turned my energy problems into "What do I do with this energy?"
