In post #16, I asked that LoD for Light of Deldrimor be added. It never happened.
This is what you are asked to bring on dungeon runs and it's common for people to think they are being asked to bring Light of Deliverance.

Marvel Buddha
what about q7 or q8? I saw that in a thread talking about the value of weapons.
Snograt
Those are abbreviations spread by illiterate people who don't realise that req(uirement) begins with r, not q.
Moonstalker
I often see this on other forums involving some form of auctioning: BIN
Anyone know what that means? I can give an example of when it's used if needed.

Neo Nugget
I've never heard of BIN before. How's it used?
Moonstalker
Ah.. I'll use an example I can just come up with:
Someone is offering a run to LA from Ascalon on the forums, but of course it's limited to 3 other people. So one guy will post
"Bin"
Another time I see it is in bidding:
C/O (Current Offer): 100k
Bin: 200k

I've gone through the entire thread, I understand the 40/40 and 20/20 now (ty to those that posted that info.)
Here's where I'm getting lost: what is 40/20/20 ? Does this refer to a staff, main&offhand and why the extra "20" ?

If current offer is 100k, a seller is selling item(s) and more likely than not taking offers on that item or items hoping for a better price. He may randomly call out where the current offer currently stands, which can generate more enthusiasm for interested buyers wanting to purchase.
(B)uy (I)t (N)ow is the price for which a buyer may purchase the item(s) the seller has for sale immediately- 200k bumping any other previous offers, and closing the deal immediately.
In regard to the run from LA to Ascalon: BIN may mean the same thing as above? Easier to set a fixed price and therefore allowing for more frequent runs as opposed to waiting for the highest bidder(s) ? Just a thought, as I don't know on the running example. I would imagine if I were a runner, I think I would set a fixed price for each participant in a forum thread and wait for replies/ so it's a bit logically contradictory. If it were in the auction forum, I do not know if you can set a "fixed" price

I was about to send a user a link to this thread for help with "IGN" and noticed it's not here.
Please add
IGN = In-Game Name (the name of one of your Guild Wars characters; often used for sending whispers in game) Not usually associated with the similarly named website in the context of Guild Wars discussions.
Thanks!

T1's response referring to PvX wiki is correct BUT the term PvX actually means "player versus everything," i.e. something that is common to PvE and PvP, such as a role playing character that also does PvP. That's how PvX wiki got its name - it provides builds for both role players and the unwashed masses.

Also I noticed UAX and UAS are missing.
UAX = Unlocked everything (as in: skills, equipment etc)
UAS = Unlocked all skills (for every profession)

I thought of a couple more that might be worth adding
GotT - Gift of the Traveler
^ that one took me a while to figure out at first.
r, q, req - common abbreviations for requirement when describing weapons ("wtb r9 sword" for example)
^ I realize there are people who get very emotional over which one is used. Given the frequency each is seen in game and in trade listings, it seems foolish to leave any of them off this list ... where someone who does not understand might reasonably go to look it up.
