Can heroes use my Customized weapons and get the 20% extra damage? Or does that only apply to my own characters?

Note: Weapons that have been customized for a character can be used by any Hero bound to that character, allowing them to share the bonus damage. However, you cannot customize a weapon that is currently being equipped by a hero. All other rules regarding customized weaponry still apply
