i've searched the forums and wikis about this, with no luck.

is there any way/option to make it so that my para doesn't make heaving, strenuous grunting sounds when attacking? this has annoyed the crap out of me since i created one.
i've tried turning down each of the sound options one at a time, and yet the "HRUUAAAAA" continues.
any help?

Turn off your speakers. While your paragon will still be grunting you won't hear it. Glad to be of help

Try to make your own noises instead ,for example every time your Para is about to grunt just shout out BANZAI!!!!!!!!!! or WOOT! this will no doubt also keep entertained anyone within earshot.

Have you ever thrown a javelin? If you have than you know why the Paragon's grunt like Jenna Jameson on a hot day.

The only thing that I can suggest is to find that sound file in the DAT and kill it. Now, by doing so, does the auto-updater just put it back? I'm no modder, so I wouldn't know where to start to accomplish such a task. It's just a thought.

Now, before there's a lot of screaming of "the EULA you can't do that!", those that are tempted to do so should check the wiki pages that contain discussion on the matter. If you can TexMod your toon's appearance, then slamming an annoying sound file shouldn't be a matter of concern.
