My friend told me that she knew several Dervs with 70 energy...in an outpost, mind you...no lyssa form.

How is this possible?

Sieze the Day +15
Wand +5
Focus +5
All Raidant/Attunement +18
Dervish armor +5

= 83 Energy.

Alternative to just having a Scythe you only lose 5 energy.

Of course, you sacrifice a bunch of things eh?

I never say fail about anything in this game because as soon as I do, someone comes up with a ridiculously op build that proves otherwise.

For curiosity's sake, I was trying to max my energy to come up with an aoe/condition bombing build that was spammable with arcane zeal. You know, something different to fit my playstyle of the day.

High energy sets in offhands/wands are good for AoM, but that's about it.

has no one heard of weapon swapping? For a mystic sandstorm gimmick build, +15/-1s are pretty important. Use them to load on your enchants, then swap to normal stuff to run in and bomb.

It's a pretty stupid build, but can be fun for hoots and giggles. Check it, but I think Pious Renewal looks a little better for that build...

Pious Renewal used to be better, way back when. I'm pretty sure it always strips first now on Sandstorm, and therefore only returns energy for itself regardless of casting order. It's been a while since I checked though, so I could be wrong.
