GoE have been doing something very similar for months (and are predominantly Scandanavian fyi). We use the CoP version 3 because Sig of Illusions maxes out the title and utility skills without the need for grind or thin attribute spreading.
The tanks have the hardest job (even harder than the monks') because they make the difference between a clean kill or a party wipe. They have to learn the tanking locations, hold aggro and maintain their buffs, whereas the monks are simple healbots and the mesmers are, essentially, squishy nukers who sit in the safety of the backline until required.
It requires more thought than Ursan but at the core, it's just abusing imba PvE skills once again.

With thanks to an awefull run with the germans, who were very critical (and i couldn't understand).
Though i noticed that all the work is for the tank, once he agroed the lot it is easy.

Just a heads up, the SB monk can be dropped in favor of something else if the party is running an ele tank and an essence of celerity, constant obs flesh because of the 25% reduction on recharge, the ele tanks with mantra of earth do pretty beautifully better anyways, also another thing, a sugested skill for the cop mes with sig of illusions is weapon of shadow, it particularly helps with the cave because there will be rangers and paras coming at him crazy like and well, the paras got wild throw, so blocking out of the picture, and the rangers have savage shot to go crazy once the blocking is gone, the general answer that i get hen i make this statement is "well he's got signet of concentration" and my response is "is that non interruptable? cause i thought it was like a long cast".

When you say that it can do "Full HM runs".. Does that include Mallyx? How could that echoed CoP trick work with Mallyx? I thought enchants and hexes are a no-no with that big monkey..

I ran a VoR CoP build in DoA last night with another CoP mesmer, we had no trouble and VoR sure did what it was supposed to.

VoR? sorry, i'm rather terrible with initials, an also another suggestion, in place of a bonder for nm you can bring a barrager with save yourselves and that works rather well, even more so if a mesmer with an extra skill slot can splinter him occasionally.

Second: VoR isn't suposed to do damage, it is a fast all close enemy hex skill. So all the foes are hexed and CoP¨can be used. Something is wrong with the attributes posted there. I don't get player no. 4 specing 4 in prot instead of 3 which would give him/her max healing prayers. Player No. 7 has no attributes in Beast Mastery making EoE a level 1 joke. Same goes for the Backfire and Empathy which use domination magic but there are no points spec'd in it on players no. 6 and 7. Please check the builds more carefully before you post them, but I appreciate it none the less ... not a bad base to work from. royal mercenary

EoE is for the small amount of hp 1 foe will still have after the CoP "spike" cause the ki's will heal 1 foe, backfire& empathy @ number 7 are easy skills to target CoP, feel free to add other, though they only are needed to trigger CoP. (sometimes i bring clumsiness or wandering eye instead) MercenaryKnight
If you did bring a shadowform tank (assuming a/me) the assassin could bring the ether nightmare to make it easier so all the mesmers just have to get their cop's ready.

The rest of the team (minus the tank) would aggro a mob and bunch up near the trench, dying so the nec could rebirth them into the trench. Then the tank would go activate the quest and tank outside the trench's gate. I don't remember it fully; it's been a while since then. royal mercenary

I almost forgot about the gates and HM effects for Foundry. People used to use a pet for that on a N/R bip.

In the past the typcial times for these were (HM, as there was no HM it was all environmental effects, etc.) Veil: 45 min Foundry: 120 min city: 45 min gloom: 30 min This group cannot do Mallyx in his room directly as Hex and Enchants are a no no. You can do the "Door Open" trick, but it still may not be enough, but at least the groups that spawn in at 50 and 80% will not be an issue. What you can do is just bring a Usan with Assasin Promise, more of a physical team, and in NM use the door trick it works as we did this post nerf. Pets no longer work which is why Golem was used. A 1hp Bip is the best BIP to bring, but in foundry you cannot use this as much because of the environmental effects.
