I think I'm one of the relatively few people who really play their sin for the profession that it is instead of just as a farming machine. Seeing names like Ixl Perma Ixl makes me want to cry. People have said I love my sin too much. Maybe they're right. Maybe.
Some of these pics have larger images linked to them so gogo clicky!

I pretty much learned the ropes with my assassin. Not really recommended since assassin + factions is doubly noob-unfriendly. Look at the silly bars! Palm was one of my old favorites before I discovered Moebius [and then Palm got buffed U_u]. I used to have my FoW white, which I still love, but I just got sick of seeing clones everywhere. I've gotten comments that my new color looks like poop but that's alright!

Call me a purist, but in the age of critscythe, I still prefer daggers. I'd take +damage over critical normals any day, since as armor level goes up the crits happen less often and DPS goes down the tube. Death Blossom spam is a win button. Maybe I'm a boring nub, but I don't enjoy doing things the hard way. Fullsize image: She was not amused.

I did get a scythe though because they look undeniably awesome and are excellent for impressing low level guildies as you blow stuff up as fast as the wind. Anything with AL above 70 gets annoying and is a cue for me to go daggers instead.

Your usual defensive set with a furious spear. The shield is a Command req with +10 vs Lightning/of Devotion because Shock is st00pid and -5/20s help squat when attacks all miss in the first place.

Staff for perma without cons since I run blessed and the defensive set gives tiny allowance for casting anything else. I thought I'd be fine with my old Destroyer staff but my OCD led me to another unjustifiable purchase.

...and another. Critbarrage damage is even more abysmal than critscythe and apart from pulling targets [which is already rare enough these days] I don't think this is going to see much sunlight. But I had to have it! T_T

Finally for the combat pictures. Isle of the Nameless isn't good enough for my assassin so I decided to take some photos of real monsters and do it the right way. I'm not a huge fan of chaos gloves but they give +3 to credibility [somehow] and make assassin attack animations look even more kickass. Clicky clicky.
