The only way I can get acess to my computer now is by booting from the Window's CD,which is long & annoying.
Anyone had this problem before & could help me?I heard of removing the password with Safe Mode or something but dont kno how

Anybody else had access to your PC? Sounds suspiciously like the old "set up a BIOS password on mate's computer" gag.
If you know how, reset your BIOS settings manually (CMOS jumper or, last resort, remove CMOS battery for a while).
At least, I think that does the trick.
Alternatively, find the bugger who's having their joke and suspend him by his scrotum until he tells you the PW.

Pressing either F5 or F8 during start up should give you the choice to load "safe mode" for Windows. Take the administrator account to log-in, it normally doesn't have a password.

It sort of sounds like you logged out for the first time recently. When you get into Windows, there's a place in Control Panel that allows you to go back to normal. Search Google for it to see if it helps you out, okay?

Log on as an administrator to reset the password
Windows XP Home Edition or Windows XP Professional
1. Log on as an administrator.
a. Restart the computer.
b. Press CTRL+ALT+DELETE two times, and then type the name of the administrator user account.
c. In the Password box, type the administrator password, and then click OK.
Note If the administrator password is set to a blank password, do not type a password before you click OK.
2. Reset the password.
a. Click Start, click Run, type control userpasswords2, and then click OK.
b. Click the name of the user account that you want to reset the password for, and then click Reset Password.
c. Type a new password in the New password box, and then type the password again in the Confirm new password box, and then click OK.
d. Restart the computer, and then try to log on to Windows XP again.
I still have doubts. Password request on a black screen? Still sounds more like BIOS to me. You said you can't get into the BIOS. Why?
