My Assasin Runs like a NOOB

Im sorry if this has already been discussed in another thread and forgive me for not searching through the hundreds of threads here but i have a problem and it is doing my head in!

My Female assassin character doesnt run like an assasin at all, more like a ranger, i dont do the sneaky run or anything, arms by side back up straight, and the only reason i made an Assassin is cause i love the way they run.

I contacted NC support and they asked me to advertise this problem on a Guildwars forum (or the guild wars forum, if there is one, Google took me straight here) so that the can over look the discussion and get a better knowledge of the problem.

Does any one have this same problem? and how do i fix this?

Spectaters see me running stupid, and i see them run normal.

All Assassin's run like that Really, they have a very goofy way of running. If you are saying that yours is running differently from all other assassin's then you will have to show someone ingame or post a video of it on YouTube or somewhere. (FRAPS should work for taking the video if you need some software).
On second thought, is it just "rubber banding"??? It could be lag/latency problems that is making you look like you run funny. Please post your System Specs and the settings that you play Guild Wars on.

The sneaky walk is only when you have daggers equipped in your hands (E.G in combat zones) You can't do the sneaky walk in town.

If you are in fact outside and still not walking properly, it is probably a corrupted .dat file, and you need to delete that and redownload all of the files again.

Nah that's not right. They normally lean forward, one shoulder lower than the other when they're running. Are you using daggers? Can you post a video clip or screenshot?

They only run the cool 'sneaky way' when they are running faster than normal, ie with skills like dash and dark escape.

Doesnt matter with weps, its all the same.

Your assassin sat on something sharp, and neglected to pull it out. Just remove said object, bandage the wound, take some antibiotics, and she'll be right as rain.

i'm guessing its not corrupted .dat if other ppl see what he sees.

my guess - the game's working as intended but op is doing it wrong.
more specifically i think he's using non-dagger weapons and doesn't realize that they run differently with, say, a scythe.

First one with daggers, second with a bow. Is that what you meant, or something different?

Snograt, I think that is what he means by how his assassin runs, but he wants how assassins run when using a speed boost.

If you want to run like how Etta described, which I guess is the "sneaky" run, you need a speed boost. And for at least male assassins (dunno on female as I don't have one) the weapon does NOT matter for how they run, it's their speed that does.

and for the record, when i use dash etc with chaos axe or fellblade, i do arms be side run, when i gave those weaps to a friend, he ran sneakily... now he does it round me to taunt me...lol

Um.. ya. Its not a bug or anything. They run depending on what item they are wielding. So... if you really want to fix it. You can't who cares how they run anyways. (no offense)
