At this point we need more major updates/content and LESS titles

We need more titles that don't require money, or to start a totally new character.

Just because you don't think they're meaningful doesn't mean that others do not.
What one person is really proud of another may find it odd. The title that that really made me feel good was my first one, Protector of cantha with with henchmen, really felt glad about it. Now though IConsider it easy but if i hear somone say in guildchat or local boasting about it I leave them have there moment.

No new titles as I agree we need less titles /Notsigned.

While we're at it, lets make a bunch of titles that each max every time you, say, take a step, or buy something, or equip anything. They could each be called "I just want my GWAMM NAO PL0X"

Its not that we need zero new titles but several of the existing ones need to go away. We need better quality titles not more consumable ebay titles and rep grind. Anet can't be trusted to make a decent title anymore. They could have done a nice job with a Historian title for doing all BMP missions and discoveries or a nice title for completing every quest in the game, but no! Purchasable party animal and purchasable zaisen with 50,000 stupid multicolored emotes was all they could manage. Who ever is driving this crap just needs to quit.

A really good one would have been a quest title like a lot of people have mentioned before. But then again anet likes adding a lot of useless titles, so they need to add a death title lol.

Yeah, Zaishen Title really pissed me off, particularly when they actually encouraged that Halo-style do-the-emote-on-the-corpse idiocy that's designed specifically to end all notion of friendly competition and turn PvP into an epeen-stroking ragefest.

You won't have enough time in serious PvP to actually do it. Unless your winning so ridiculously badly.

don't know why everyone is hating on titles. of course they are pointless. its a game, every part of it is pointless other than to provide entertainment. pursuing and maxing titles happens to be something I and many other players find entertaining, and adds replay value to much of the game. if you don't like it, don't do it, fine. but don't hate on everyone else who does like it.

Actually, I think it would be cool to have 5 titles based on the grenth, balthzara, lyssa, dwayna, and melandru. Maybe they could be specific to professions like taming pets and stuff. Maybe they could be easy, but also make them fun :P.

Healer of Dwayna: In an elite area, heal other party members for over 500hp (not each individually - but to show you are a healer) total and allow 0 deaths until the area is complete. 5 Elite areas to max. Edit - maybe something about casting prot skills and enchantments as well.

Follower of Lyssa: Interrupt skills with a 3/4 cast (HM 1 sec cast). 1,000 Interrupts to max.

Tamer of Melandru: Tame and raise every kind of pet in the game to elder.

Soldier of Balthazar: Complete every quest in the game across all 3 campaigns and expansion (add a guy to show which quests are not yet completed to find hidden quests).

Servant of Grenth: Kill creatures to add points to this title (must gain xp). Bosses add 100 points. Exploiting corpses adds 1 additional point. 500,000 points to max. (This one is for everybody)

I think I will be blasted for suggesting this but here it goes anyway. I was thinking of instead of new titles, we could use our skill points to help us level/grind/farm/bought/or whatever everybody wants to call it for SOME our CURRENT titles. The consumable titles for one could be the 1st lot of them. Comments?

doin that u could do your 100% exploration titles 10times over for each campaign and not all quests can be obtained if u come from another campaign origionally
and i doubt any1 will spend 500hours doing standard quests

Im used to be all for more titles, but now I would prefer more new content and updates.
