Ok, first off, i know this has been posted here before, but i have more reason why there should be one. First off, a haircut weekend would be a weekend in which you could change your characters hair style. Maybe even make it cost like 10-15k or something.
I think they should do it because, when you first make your character you dont always know what armor and color your gonna end up getting. For example, i made my Rits hair red, but now i just got obby armor dyed pink. The only way to make it look good, is using the obby helm, but that doesn't always look good. If you made a character, 3 years ago, but just recently got new armor but don't like the helm, you cant really make him/her look good. Most of Guild Wars is about looking good anyways, why not make it so your hair matches?
I dont see why they wouldnt do it, theres no reason why they shouldnt. I know alot of people have mentioned this before, but i really think they should, and i bet there are alot of other people who feel the same way.
Who else agrees with me?
Haircut Weekend. How could it hurt?

It might get through if we have enough people agree with it. It cant hurt, at all.

/notsign, because it is pointless to /sign, since it has been stated by Gaile (back when she was CR) that it wasn't going to happen in GW1, but is a definite possibility in GW2.
If they did do it, it's pointless going to the effort to do it for one weekend and then take it away again. If they went to the effort of putting the coding in, they might as well make it a permanent feature.
At this point in time, I'd take any past "this will never happen" from Gaile with a grain of salt - I couldn't give the specifics off the top of my head, but I'm sure at least a couple of those have been overturned since Regina took over the job. A) does still hold, however.
(As a partial rebuttal to C), there were plenty of requests for a rogue/light fighter profession and a bard/shouter profession before the Assassin and Paragon, respectively, were revealed. I doubt those professions were made solely on suggestions made here, but they were ANet's own spin on things that were suggested here, and they were put in.)

Even though I'd prefer a NPC addition, /signed. I want people to stop calling me a narutard because I picked an Assassin hair with the ninja head-guard. -.-

As a weekend event? Not exactly the most exciting weekend event I could imagine. ![]() |

secondly i would rather be able to do this all the time and also be able to change the names of a few of my ch.

I'm all for it. Rather than an event to change the hair, why not make hair changing a part of every event? New season event, new hair? It beats the hell out of standing on a ring of fortune (and isn't that a riot?).
Or just make hair styles a type of helmet. Just like a monk's tattoes but fuzzier. Then you could dye them over and over again. Technically it's be a wig, but hey, some of my chars are getting on in age.

Tons of people have been asking for something like this forever. Although i don't see it happening. I see lots and lots more double xp capture weekends instead of cool stuff like this.

even though i remade my warrior already :P
