We Don't Do it on Purpose [pimp]

Hey guys-

I recently got GW working on my Mac by using the program CrossOver Games, which I found out about on this forum.

My Macbook is running Leopard and has a 2.4GHz Intel Core 2 Duo processor, 2 GB of RAM, and an integrated graphics chipset.

The game runs incredibly smooth but the graphics aren't the best. I expected this due to my graphics hardware on the machine but I am wondering if there is anything that I can do to improve the problem.

Everything except character armor seems to load incredibly fine, and, even then, some armors do load correctly. When the armors don't load correctly they have this white gloss over top of them or they look really dark. I've attached two screenshots that show this

Is there anything that I can adjust in the graphics settings that can fix this? I won't lose sleep over it if I cant do anything but I figured that I should at least check =)

Nothing to do with your problem, but that first picture looks pretty cool. I wouldnt want to change it.

GW doesn't have many graphics options. In your case I would play with the graphics settings that affect character armor and see if that has an effect. Texture quality, post-process effects, and best texture filtering are the setting you want to experiment with. In addition a different graphics driver might help, but that is more of a pain to test.

I always get that effect when I screw up with Texmod, I guess your graphics card can't process the textures that well.

And if you have an Intel integrated graphics card, be glad you're able to play the game. xD
