Not to be mean, but you should probably focus on something other than your own characters if you'd like other people to use your wallpapers... If I wanted to have someone's character as my background, I'd use my own, not yours. I'd focus on the scenery or something >.>

I agree with Daisuko. There's a lot of great scenery in GW. I seem to be Shift+PrintScreening a lot so I could get some good wallpapers.

Whether or not people like seeing characters in wallpapers, that really comes down to preferences. Epic PvP scenaries depicting Guild Wars is a lot more attractive in my opinion, rather than generic landscape which might as well have come straight out of Terragen. Paragons in particular tend to give extra life to it, with their anthem-animations.
However, one thing you should consider: When making wallpapers you should have the resolution dimensions in mind. In other words, a ratio of 1+1/3 : 1 (e.g. 1024x768, 1600x1200, etc).

Got it. Thanks for all your criticism, it's really appreciated. Maybe I'll work on your suggestions after my exams. But to be honest, I didn't really expect people to use my wallpapers.
