All I did on my ranger was bring Dunk, Master of whispers, and Xandra with Fire, Earth, Prot, and Illusion henches, went back and forth killing groups staying near the center until the rifts opened and the generals appeared, then took them from South to North, took a try or two but it worked, And of course make sure your lightbringer title is on :P
EDIT : if it helps to know, I used Broad Head Arrow, Dunk used Word of Healing, Xandra used Caretaker's Charge, and Master of Whispers used Jagged Bones.
EDIT EDIT : Oh yeah, and bring Lightbringer's Gaze. It works wonders.

After watching this video a few times i completed the mission on first attempt with H&H.
Builds
Assassin(human player)
Standard Sabway Necros(give the SS necro BR)
Mesmer Henchmen
Ele Henchmen
2 Monk Henchmen
Obviously with you being a monk you'll have to switch afew things around... but concept remains the same. Hardest part of this mission is failing to kill stuff quickly or getting bogged down with the wrong mobs. If you learn the spawns and where you have to be and when this mission is simple enough(tis all in the video)

mm = pin at center, send all whispers to the left, hold right, once the bosses show up, go for the sb monk boss first, cause he takes the longest, then general cum-stache, and the mage hunter, the whispers should take out the ele on their own, if they don't go assist, it's pretty fast and easy if you got something to shut down casters (the monk boss in particular) as daisuko

Did this one HM on my Necro (SS mostly) in a very similar way to the video.
I took 2 MM's (variation of Sab's build), an ele hero, henchies were 2 monks, a warrior and possibly Herta (not sure on the last one). One MM was sent east with the Whispers.
Just before the bosses spawned, I actually ran to (and flagged my heroes to) the place where the Warrior boss spawns, took him out, back to the center to defend (as per the video), once safe simply worked through the rest of the bosses west to east. Was the 1st time I've managed to save all the bombards (usually lose one).
You may not need to actually run to the warrior boss spawn point, only reason I did it that way is that the boss was being stubborn when I tried to pull him, but mostly my oh so lovely heroes (actually may have been the henchies, too long ago now) would ignore their flags and aggro the 2nd boss mob. Standing at/near the spawn point worked perfectly for me - just need to make a quick kill and run fast back to the centre.
Luck.

I did it on my own with H/H using Sabway. I was a Broad Head Arrow ranger, and the only thing I really did was kept running back and forth between mobs. I went after the Warrior boss first too. Keep trying.

Bring a friend with heroes.
Make sure you start with the Ele Boss first because it is the easiest to take down.
I like to give the East side 2x groups of whispers while you and your friend hold down middle and west.
You and your friend should be able to take down west very quickly if you know which monsters to kill first. Than work your way over to the east side.
Bring a con set if you really don't like doing it over and over because you probably will be.

Bring a con set if you really don't like doing it over and over because you probably will be. Sending the whispers to East and then killing ele boss, that is on the east, makes for unnecessary running (sp?).
Send 2x to the west, and also a MM hero if you can. No sac skills so he doesn't dies too much. Try to do it in NM first so you time when the Kournan Rangers that you should leave to the Guards in the middle come. Leave one for the Guards to kill, head to the boss spot. Ele is indeed quickest to kill.
Actually, since Master's reward allows for one of the defenses to go down, I'd reccommend you either leave the Para/Ele/Monk take one of the defenses, then you won't have to run too far to kill him, making for a quick kill.
Essence of Celerity, [charge!] or [fall back] serve well in this mission.

Broad head arrow works wonders here. The reason why the bosses might seem tough is because of the random priest popups. Those priests have unlimited energy thanks to zealous benediction, so you need to cancel them. Taking at least one mm helps a lot if you happen to take a hero or person with BHA.
I did this mission on the first try using two monks, two MMs with spoil victor, a BHA ranger (person), a warding ele (against melee and anti kd), an SS, and a fire ele. So basically massive interruptions are the clue to get through this mission.

i did it last week with a friend, discord-way, took us a couple of tries though:
we ordered 2 groups of npcs to the side of the ele boss along with one mm to help them (flaged with them whole the mish), and the 3rd group on the center.
we ran around to kill the kournan patrols, and when the bosses poped we focus 1st on the warrior boss, since that side is not protected by any npcs, then we went for the monk boss, para boss and finally the ele, you of course need to take care of any leak of kournans while doing this...if you have troubles dont forget a conset that will release some presure

ive done dzagnour bastion n HM and it was farely easy.....i have MoW as MM since he is required and real players....the way to beat it is to not over-aggro....make sure everyone has lightbringer title thing for decreased dmg intake and increased dmg output etc......and make sure that theres no noobs who rush in to every single fight so taht they die in about 2 seconds....if u do that it should be farely easy to complete.....gl hf

WoW the lag and bugginess got me today - wasted 3 consets after 6 failed attempts (2/3, no masters). One run somehow got reset from HM to NM (without me logging out - but I did lag out)...
Kinda lame. Server was lagging hard today, I kill 3 at the west tower after 2 bosses down, then 2 minutes later it tells me that tower was DOWNED (no enemy there, FWIW) - but I did get masters that run.

Kain the Monk
I beat it today with ease for masters. My team was Sabway necros, HB monk, Motivation paragon with fall back, Broadhead ranger, an AotL MM, and RoJ Echo Nuker. I send the groups 2 west one east and took out the Ele boss first with PI and Lightbringers gaze. Then Paragon, monk, and finally war. If you are still having problems, a con set will make things much easier.
