[Build;OgUUgVRN0gGrIHXAF+GBR35A]
Equips:
Rune of Superior Wilderness Survival
+1 Wilderness Survival Mask
Rune of Superior Vigor
Frostbound Insignia x5
Wand/Focus with 20% chance of decreasing cast and recharge of Illusion Magic skills
Basically this is like the Stone Striker build for rangers except this one uses Mesmer skills instead.
You'll have 115 AL vs. Cold Damage. That should be enough for a heavy beating.
Basically, you use Clumsiness to deal damage, and let Mantra of Frost give you energy. I picked Mantra of Frost > Elemental Resistance because of that.
Where to Farm:
I tested this in HM in Old Ascalon, vs. groups of 3-8 Grawl, and it did pretty well. Of course, the Holy damage from the Ulodytes were a bit annoying, but Troll Unguent and Ether Feast gave me back the health I needed.
I also tried this on Desert and Northern Shiverpeak Minotaurs. Both times it did well, though Desert Minotaurs seemed a bit easier (seeing as how they stack so well). However, this build can't withstand TOO much damage, and sometimes Desert Minotaurs swarmed me.
Another thing I tried this on was Hydras. It didn't work so well, but I could kill them in groups of 2-3. Any more than that and I was dead on the ground. Cry of Frustration worked nice here as they seem to divide into: 1 Hydra uses Meteor, the other 1 or 2 uses Fireball. Though after they started chaining Meteor, I had a little bit of trouble (I Power Spiked the 2nd one). Just use Troll Unguent before that and you'll probably live long enough to get back up and use Ether Feast.
EDIT: I think this also works on Desert Griffons. It does for me, just time your interrupts to cancel Healing Signet.

Doesn't seem like a lot of damage output to me. Maybe try some ranger skills for that. You could spread poison with apply poison or something. And what when the spirits expire and you're still in the middle of a group? Break aggro to set up new ones? Becouse it seems very likely the spirits will get killed if you just place them in front of enemies.

This isn't meant for extremely large groups that take more than 2 minutes to kill. The spirits last 110 seconds, and if you need to renew them, do it after a battle. If you accidentally aggro too many at once and they're all over you, then you can run away and try it again. But this isn't really meant to be for that kind of thing.
As for damage, it's actually quite a few. Let's take Clumsiness. 65 damage every 12 seconds (including cast). 20% chance that it'll take 11 seconds, 20% chance that it'll take 7 seconds, 4% chance that it'll take 6 seconds. After crunching it (with the chances and everything), it deals 8.888... damage per second. That may not be a lot, but you have interrupts so they won't be able to recover the damage lost.
EDIT: Well, if you wanted to use Bow attacks, I guess Apply Poison+Epidemic could supply a good amount of poison to adjacent foes. Or Volley if you're desperate for yellow numbers. Just trade Illusion Magic for Marksmanship and add a superior or minor rune (in my opinion major runes are wastes). Keep the Wilderness Survival hat though.

Well let me start this off by showing my thread from quite some time ago on a similiar concept http://www.guildwarsguru.com/forum/showthread.php?t=10282532&highlight=ranger+having+ some+uw+fun.
The first big issue I see with you setup is the use of [skill]winter[/skill]. It really is a pointless spirit to bring and it also makes the build more fragile since you need 2 spirits to survive/energy. It would make far more sense to bring [skill]mantra of flame[/skill] and then put another useful skill in that slot. I can't really see your dps being that great along with survivability really becomes endangered when one of your main heals is a 3 second cast time. The build you presented really begs for disrupt problems. I would recommend [skill]"I am unstoppable!"[/skill] in place of winter.
I suppose the bar I would run would look something like this which is something I experimented with for a while.
[skill]greater conflagration[/skill], [skill]mantra of flame[/skill], [skill]"I am unstoppable!"[/skill], [skill]ether nightmare[/skill], [skill]cry of pain[/skill], [skill]troll unguent[/skill], [skill]ether feast[/skill], and [skill]clumsiness[/skill] or [skill]illusion of weakness[/skill].
