The lag is back?

So today, I've been lagging badly, my computer has been off for a few weeks, since my vacation, so I thought it was just my computer, however, the more I talked to people, they also told me they were lagging as well. This is really getting old, I hope Anet can actually take the time to look into their servers, etc, instead of calling it client side, or giving us a stupid answer like they always do.

I've had this since Sunday night, annoying as hell. I thought that might have been me as some other websites are being a bit slow, but that may be some troubles with Guild Wars having spill over... or sunspots. Just as likely.

Edit: As annoying as this always is, we'll have Regina pop in about two days and say that they're doing 'everything they can' and that 'nothing's changed, might be you'. It's like trying to talk to Orange Custmoer Support occasionally: soul crushing and dismaying.

Edit Part 2: Oh yeah, three disconnects this morning and my boyfriend was having disconnects all last night as well in Dungeons.

ive had a few dc's in the last 30mins, nothing wrong my end so i blame anet :P

I for one have been lagging terribly since last weekend. Constant disconnects, and occasional long-lasting bouts of 4 digit ping with 5 digit spikes. Completely unplayable.

I always get the "client side" line, but that is because as soon as I say my normal ping is 300ms, anything unusual,above 700ms, must be all client side too :S

Yeah, lagging during noob hour is bad. :'(

My guild was disconnecting a shit load during our last GvG. I've been getting a few random disconnects all day, but the past 30 minutes has been horrible.

We just had our entire team disconnect three times in the same GvG.

We still won, however.

I wonder if other people had the same problem. But occasianoly, while I'm vanquishing and I'm trying to salvage items, I get dc'ed. This continues the entire instance until I rezone.
This happens every 2 or 3 days :s

Well, ironically we beaten the exact same guild in the same day, and in previous plays...

No lag, no disconnects.

If this lag was before that, I dunno, wasn't there.

There was some lag surely, but not that many which i got dc. But the guildwars wiki was really stucked for some minutes. Do they all have common problem?

If I remember correctly, the Official Wiki is in the same, or similar, place as the main servers. So when Guild Wars and the Wiki are acting up and no other sites or games are, the problem's most likely going to be Anet and not you.

Teehee. Maybe that's why they don't have an official forum?

we lagged/dced so bad also on last gvg... and the opposite side aswell... but they won that match, becoz dunkoro co. smite and the pets bite us to death

AB was a nightmare last night. Lost on Kaanai cus the kurz managed to crawl to one more shrine whilst we ran into walls...

I just had 3 DC's in 5 minutes while my internet and web browser was fine.

I was doing a double vanquish and lagged out of the second area and couldnt reconnect so had to start over.

Following that I managd a triple vanq with no problems, so I think it was a temporary glitch that is fixed now.

my whole guild was lagging and disconnecting the whole night yesterday.

Lag's gone for me, but about 5 hours ago (when this topic started, coincidentally) I had 3 disconnects just for looking at the world map. Then I had lag spikes that hit so bad the average ping thing didn't even stand a chance at updating. So there I was, standing still in the middle of the shiverpeaks for about a minute with a green dot saying I had at most 200 ping. It would've been funny if I hadn't almost died.
