Can A Luxon Donate Kurzick Faction?

I'm an officer in a Luxon Alliance Leader but am currently working on Kurzick HFFF and find myself with 10K faction I need to get rid of. I can get the amber chunks or scrolls but would rather donate it to an alliance for the double points.

I was told there is a way to do this as a guest of a Kurzick guild or some other way. I'd prefer not to have to change guilds to do this.

Any help appreciated.

you need to receive a guest invite from a kurzik guild and u can dump your points in their gh

Or, you can just get guested to a Kurzick guild and donate to the Kurzick allegiance NPC there.

Okay so when did this change? This necro'd thread shows people in 2008 saying you can't donate for double faction through a guest invite to a guild of the opposite faction, and here we have people in 2011 saying the same thing.

However back when I was playing this game a lot a year and a half or so ago I know I was able to get a guest invite into a luxon guild if I was in a Kurzick guild and I could donate luxon points for double faction.

When did this change? Or did it?

I've never been able to donate faction as a guest for a guild of opposite faction. If you want to donate faction, you need to be in a guild that corresponds to that faction (so only people in kurzick guilds can donate kurzick faction to an alliance). Apparently anyone can buy skills with a guest invite, but I've never tried.

you don't need to be in a guild at all for the PVE skills.

You need to be lvl 20 to get the pve skills right, so this would be a very long road. Easier must be to leave the guild and join the other side. :/

Some people may be confusing the Quests, Befriending the Luxon's/Kurzick's. It was quite common back before FA/JQ reworks to get a guest invite and go AB for your 10k then complete the quests.

I have never been able to donate to other side,although I did buy jade shards at the weekend and received the faction bonus.
