Just seen the 'dowload the tool' thing on gwfreaks n it looks pretty handy for elite skill capping etc etc

http://www.gwfreaks.com/

Just wondered if anyone has tried it and is it some sort of hacking devise for GW?

No, never tried it. Official Guildwiki is good enough. That's why I wonder why people use other stuff and wonder if it might be to hack gameaccounts

As long as its a legitimate program and Anet doesn't look at it as a third party for some random reason should be a pretty convenient thing to have.

I've used it before, but I prefer GW teddy. It's not a hacking program, as it doesn't run the game through it, it's just an outside program to create builds without having to log into the game. It's not like the hero creators from Diablo II that you could download, all it does as far as I remember is save the build template.

I used it alot and loved it back in 2005, but later for some reason I stopped stopped using it. It might have been because of slow updates of content, not sure now.
It looks as it's still the same program as then, just updated and full of new features - but should be 100% safe if downloaded from their official website.

I use it fairly often for keeping track of elite caps and what not. It works well and isn't a hacking program.

I use wiki. If I'm making a checklist for Elites I use Microsoft Excel.
