I got my new XP desktop which cost me 1000 bucks(gr8 specs). Anyways, I was going through my old vista laptop(which i hate), and deleting some crap for my sis to use at college. Anyways, this is strange and only happens to Windows Live Messenger. I go to control panel and uninstall the program and it won't uninstall... No its not a virus because i used to scan that PC every day. It will get half way through the uninstaller and freeze. I am then forced to reboot(manual via button). I remember one time, lol, it came up a Blue Screen of Death when doing so(LONG time ago). Had the laptop the day vista came out with 2GB RAM and b4 i uninstalled it, I uninstalled/deleted a lot other files. Its fast, not slow. Anyone have an idea why its doing this?
Like I said, I'm not too good at vista but great at XP.
THANKS!
BTW, WLM(Win. Live Messenger) is working. I want to delete it so I can remove some space...

WLM is part of Vista, if I recall correctly. If it isn't, you can use Revo Uninstaller.
Dark Kal
You can always manually remove the WLM folder, reinstall it and then uninstall it.
Wrath Of Dragons
Can you get rid of it through the add/remove windows components?
XP has something like that, dont know about vista.
