Ok, I have this problem, that sometimes when I'm ingame playing GW it will freeze for a second, then it will give me control again, but all these random textures will have popped up, so sometimes my skills will be just random colours or sometimes my whole screen. Also when this happens, my Realtek HD Sound Manager will pop up saying that I just plugged in my headphones, my mic, and my stereo.

Looks like either a graphics card hardware failure, or a driver problem. Try updating to the latest driver. Try updating the Realtek drivers too - could be a conflict.
If that doesn't help (or if you already have) - check to make sure that the fan is running on the video card and/or it's not clogged with dust. Check the rest of the fans and heatsinks in the computer while you're at it.
If that doesn't help - and you have a multi-core CPU, try forcing GW to run in only one core.
If that doesn't help - try a new video card.

if the updated drivers don't help and you have verified that your fan is running and dust free, and you still have trouble, try re-installing GW (or at least the gw.dat file) before anything else.
hope you get it running stable

if it's new drivers, here are a few questions to consider:
-did you completely uninstall your old driver before installing the new one? if you didn't, completely uninstall your current driver, use ccleaner to remove the leftover files, and reinstall it.
-if you did completely uninstall first, uninstall your new driver and go back to your old one. afaik, one of the most stable drivers for GW is 169.21

it all started when i updated my video card, so i might have to go back to the old one, cuz the new one makes me crash!

It seems that several people with 8600 series cards are having trouble with the latest drivers.... I'd say stick with the older ones as long as they are still working.... If it ain't broke don't fix it - or something like that. :/
