Hmmm Tournament Prediction Question

Well I was trying to do my predictions early, but I noticed that Rebel Rising wasn't there. My question is do qualifications occur until the 30th (when predictions stop) or is this it? Is Rebel Rising really not going to compete :O. If there was a thread before, then please post the link.

They update the list continuously until the prediction date. It has happened before that people in the top 8 don't even show up as choices because they qualified so close to the deadline.

Yeah, Rawr usually qualifies rly late, sometimes even few hours before deadline, thats why you should do predictions just before end ill do em ~28-29th

What I usually do is make predictions now, in case I forget or real life catches up with me at deadline time.

Then close to deadline, I go and redo them. That way I manage to get something, no matter what.

How do I know who to pick for my predictions? It's kinda hard to make choices if I don't know how good these guilds/people are.

Or just spend some hours observing GvG and you'll get an idea.

Another idea is to go to the Xunlai house and check on the previous monthly winners.

Last month being a BIG exception due to the lag problems that ruined the MAT, all the other months have several recurring names (ie, I had no idea Steel Pheonix was doing THAT well until the Mat results started coming out).

Keep in mind that Hero Battle players can CHANGE their registered name every month, so its kinda hard to follow them month my month (unless they change from stuff like Xo Smurf oX to Il Smurf lI, in which case its safe to assume its the same person). Kinda says a lot about Hero Battles that most people who play them have names like that. It just attrachs a certain type I guess.


By the way, why the heck to HB people do this? I mean, do you just not want fame (the actually quantity, not the ig title) and recognition? Or are they concerned people will steal their builds/learn their movement patterns?

They do it so competition wont memorize their buids and bring a counter.
