the perfect party

i've been trying to figure what build to recommend to my friends to get through high level areas easily; specifically, DoA.

defense: if i had to select 2, which 2 should i select?
condition monk, heal monk, prot monk, imbagon, er healer

spartan: what tank do people usually rely on?
warrior, terra tank, permasin, mm

damage: suggestions welcome
dragon stomper, splinter barrager, fire nuker

any hero suggestions?

i'd really rather not use ursan, if possible.

DoA is much more about the team than the individual.

How about 8 wammos with SY, mending, and Empathetic removal?

Well, if you want "the perfect party" then go with the doa cryway build in the farming section.

If you're looking for a holy grail combo of powering yourself through every elite area with only one build, I'm here to tell you that there's no such thing. Besides, builds suited specifically for an area will do better than something that works in a general sense.

PvX has popular/working builds that will get you through whatever area you desire. Look it up.
